THE RETURN OF THE MELECH HAMELACHIM





Greetings our dear brothers and sisters in Messiah in the Holy, Mighty, Magnanimous and Magnificent Name of our Mashiach, our Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach.

Once again to Messiah and Him Alone be All the Praise, Honor and Glory. For Messiah and He Alone is Worthy. Infinitely Worthy is the Exalted Lamb of HaShem who died an excruciating, brutal, horrific, horrendous, substitutionary, agonizing and humiliating death on that Roman Cross while we were sinners, while we were without strength, while we were ungodly and not only that but also WHILE WE WERE HIS ENEMIES (Rom. 5:6-10). Just Staggering! Staggering indeed!




All of us like sheep have gone astray, we have indeed turned, each one of us to our horizontal quests, dreams, goals and ambitions and our Holy Heavenly Father laid on our Holy Adonai the evil iniquities (the wicked intents of our hearts to pursue things of the world and gratify our flesh) of ours on Messiah and Him Alone (Isa. 53:6). Did we ever take a pause to think- that our Holy Adonai actually poured His soul unto death (Isa. 53:12) to deliver us, to redeem us from pursuing our horizontal quests, dreams, goals and ambitions? And today we have a twisted version of this Absolute Truth from the modern pulpits that Elohim actually wants to give us and “bless” us with the things of the world and our flesh. Blasphemy! The Ultimate Blasphemy! As Messiah opened the Olivet Discourse, He warned us that the biggest end time marker will be “DECEPTION.” Are we paying heed? Are we truly?


On this Holy Shabbat, our 13yr old son, David has a message for us from the Inerrant and Infallible God-breathed Holy Word of HaShem as solely directed by Ruach HaKhodesh in His Great Mercy. So let us all be like Active Bereans (Acts 17:11) and let Ruach HaKhodesh unfold it for us and direct us into the Absolute Truth (Jn. 16:13; 1 Cor. 2:14).








Colossians 3:4-7 records:
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.





Titus 2:12-13 records:
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ...”




Moreover, 1 John 3:2-3 records:
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”





The Jewish leaders of the First Century expected a Conqueror who would rescue their nation and destroy the oppressive Roman domination. As a result, they rejected the Kingdom of Heaven when the Messiah, our Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach, offered it to them.




For many days since then, the common rabbinical expectation was of two different Messiahs, which appeared as a more plausible solution to the issues surrounding the timing of the coming Messiah (especially the prophetic word of Daniel 9 which clearly indicated the appearance of a first-century Mashiach Nagid). The ultra-orthodox community is thus still not ready YET to accept that the two Messiahs are One— who will come at two different times.




Today we seem to be facing a similar issue as we contemplate on the Imminent Return of our Messiah. There Is Actually No Legitimate Way To Reconcile The Holy Scriptures That Speak Of Messiah’s Return (His Second Coming) Unless We Expect Two SEPARATE Returns. The first time Messiah will descend from Heaven and receive His True Redeemed bride to Himself, in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). The second time Messiah will come with all the saints to the earth and will establish His Millennial Kingdom on the Earth (Zechariah 14:3-21).


We are instructed to look for the “glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Yeshua HaMashiach” (Titus 2:13). There are several very crucial and important differences between them... if Messiah’s Ruach directs your steps please DO YOUR OWN STUDY OF THESE DISTINCTIONS.




So the question that remains is... what is the homiletic application of this fact? Since Messiah Is About To Descend From Heaven And Appear In The Clouds, What Must We Be Doing In Anticipation Of It? This question is answered for us very clearly in 1 John 3:2-3 as well as Titus 2:12-13. This is a very important topic for every single one of us to understand as true born-again believers because it will affect our destiny. If Messiah leads you to, then please do go for your own personal study of how to “purify ourselves” (1 John 3:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7) and “prepare ourselves” (Matthew 25:10-13) for Messiah’s Return.




But something that few of us actually stop to think about is— WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE TO DO IN ANTICIPATION OF MESSIAH’S RETURN? Colossians 3:4-6 answers this question.




“When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear WITH Him in glory” (v. 4): Appearing (Greek ‘Phanerothēsesthe’) WITH Messiah in glory occurs at the Second Coming of Messiah (Jude 1:14 and several other passages validate this fact).




Notice what follows: “THEREFORE put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” (v. 5). Pay heed to the “Therefore...” Apostle Paul is telling us that SINCE WE WILL APPEAR TOGETHER WITH HIM IN GLORY, THEREFORE WE MUST PUT TO DEATH WHAT IS EARTHLY IN US...

Apostle Paul describes what we must put to death:
- FORNICATION
- UNCLEANNESS
- PASSION
- EVIL DESIRE
- COVETOUSNESS which is IDOLATRY!!





Fornication= Greek ‘Porneian’, referring to sexual immorality and bridal unfaithfulness. A Work of the Flesh (Galatians 5:19). Romans 7:4-6 records:
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God... But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.





And James 4:4 records:
ADULTERERS AND ADULTERESSES! Do you not know that FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD IS ENMITY WITH GOD? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.





So when we make ourselves friends of the world we are not only becoming enemies of Elohim but are also committing ‘Porneia’ against our Bridegroom... AND WE ARE TO MORTIFY THIS (Greek Nekrosate, “put to death”).
Uncleanness= ‘Akatharsian’, referring to impurity, uncleanness. A Work of the Flesh (Galatians 5:19). WE ARE TO MORTIFY THIS AS WELL.



Passion= ‘Pathos’, meaning intense emotion or also suffering. We are to Mortify this as well.



Evil Desire= ‘Epithumian Kaken’, lust for evil. Lust is used for fleshly desires as well as for desire for anything other than our Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach (cf. 1 John 2:16). We are to mortify this.



Covetousness= ‘Pleonexian’, jealousy, envy. Apostle Paul tells us that covetousness is Idolatry AND WE ARE INSTRUCTED TO MORTIFY THESE.




The Wrath of Elohim is coming upon the sons of disobedience for these sins. As true born-again believers who “shall be saved from Wrath through Messiah” (Romans 5:9-10), WE ARE COMMANDED TO PUT TO DEATH EACH ONE OF THESE. Why? BECAUSE WE WILL APPEAR WITH MESSIAH IN GLORY WHEN HE APPEARS!! BECAUSE when He comes back to the earth, we will also come with Him and will Not undergo the eschatological “Wrath” of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim (Revelation 6:17).



Have we truly “put to death” our members which are on the earth? Are we mortifying them on a daily basis?? Do we see a change in our lives in the last 12 months with respect to these five members of ours which are on the earth? How? Are we yielding to the Sanctification Ministry of the Indwelling Ruach HaKhodesh, or are we being ascetic?? What is it? TODAY IS THE DAY TO REEXAMINE OURSELVES AND TEST OURSELVES ACCORDING TO HASHEM’S HOLY WORD (2 Corinthians 13:5)



There is very little time left before the King returns for His own!!

Exodus 28:1-2 records:
“Now take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest, Aaron and Aaron’s sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.



Ezekiel 44:15-16 records:
But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord God. “They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.



2 Timothy 1:8-9 records:
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and CALLED US WITH A HOLY CALLING, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.



1 Peter 2:9-10 records:
But you are a CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.



Today, do we truly know and understand the holy calling which our Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach has on our lives?
Our dear fellow brethren in Messiah, our definition of holy is so contaminated because it is only horizontally oriented and influenced by this pagan, Messiah-hating world. Holiness is NOT just moral purity. There is so much more to it.

Our dear fellow brethren in Messiah being holy means that which is separate, set apart for the Preordained and Predestined Purposes of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim. HaShem’s Chosen Nation, Israel was called to be a holy nation. In order to be a holy nation, the nation of Israel had to be a separate nation. Within the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel were the Levites. As the ministers of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, theirs was a more holy calling. So, they had to be separated from the rest of the Nation of Israel. And from the Levites, the One True Living Infinitely Holy God called the KOHANIM, the priests, with a holier calling. So, the KOHANIM had to be separated from the Levites. And from the priests, Elohim called the KOHEN GADOL, the high priest with an even holier calling. So the KOHEN GADOL, the high priest had to be separated from the KOHANIM, the priests. EVERY DEGREE OF HOLINESS WAS MATCHED BY AN EQUAL DEGREE OF SEPARATION.

THAT WHICH IS HOLY MUST BE SEPARATED . . . AND THIS HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOU AND ME, WITH US. How? Because 1 Peter 2:9-10 records, But you are a CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

So if we truly belong to the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim then we are priests, His KOHANIM (Revelation 1:5-6). And every priest and holy vessel must be separated from everything else, set apart unto the One True Living Infinitely Holy God. Are we truly separated from this evil world, from our desire to accomplish things in this world unto our Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach? Are we truly? Or are we just pretending? Is it all about me just using the Holy Name of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim? Do I just want the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim to be a positive catalyst to gratify my flesh and fleshly desires?

Do I claim that I am truly Supernaturally regenerated by the Precious, Priceless, Kadosh Dam (Holy Blood) of my Great God and Holy Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach? Glory be to our Risen King Yeshua HaMashiach, that He chose you and me, chose us, even before the foundation of this world and predestined us to be redeemed unto His Preordained Paths from our sins and flesh (Romans 6:1-14; Colossians 3:1-10; Ephesians 2:10, 4:17-24).

But what have I done with regards to my Staggering Supernatural Salvation? Do I truly know what Eternal life is? Do I truly know the Precise Preordained and Predestined Paths which the One True Living Infinitely Holy God has called me unto? Or did I make up a noble purpose and now presume that such a noble act has to be of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God? What is it? What is it truly?

Genesis 1:3 records:
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.


Genesis 17:5 records:
No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.


Revelation 2:17 records:
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”


The Hebrew text of Genesis 1:3 reads-
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֖ים יְהִ֣י אֹ֑ור וַֽיְהִי־אֹֽור׃



‘Vayomēr Elohim, “Y’hi Or”, vay’hi-or.’


‘And God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.’



Did we pay heed to what the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim did? In the world, we speak of that which is. BUT THE ONE TRUE LIVING INFINITELY HOLY GOD SPEAKS OF THAT WHICH IS NOT. The One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim spoke the light when it was not, AND THEN IT WAS. This is the Way of the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim..... not only with light, but with His redeemed Blood-bought bondservants as well.

There was an old man whose wife was past the age of bearing children. But the One True Living Infinitely Holy God gave him the name AVRAHAM or ABRAHAM, which in Hebrew means “FATHER OF THE MULTITUDES”. ELOHIM GAVE HIM A NAME OF THAT WHICH WAS NOT . . . AND THEN IT WAS. Abraham became the father of nations. His name was a prophecy.

Then there was the man who was rejected by his family, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. But the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim had caused him at birth to be given the name YOSEF. YOSEF means “HE SHALL INCREASE”. AND SO HE WOULD. He would increase even to become the ruler of Egypt.
And then there was the man who lived in fear of his enemies. But the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim had caused his name to be GIDDONE. The name means “HE WHO STRIKES DOWN”. He would end up a hero who against overwhelming odds struck down the enemies of Israel. Gideon. HE TOO WAS GIVEN A NAME OF THAT WHICH WAS NOT . . . AND THEN IT WAS.

And then there was a man of great passion but little stability. But the One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim had given him the name KAYFAH. KAYFAH means “THE ROCK”. By the end of his life, that is exactly what Peter would become, a rock of strength.

Our dear fellow brethren in Messiah, we see ourselves as we are from the lens of this world and define ourselves by our horizontal accomplishments. BUT THE ONE TRUE LIVING INFINITELY HOLY GOD, ELOHIM SEES US NOT AS WE ARE, BUT AS HE CALLED US TO BE. The One True Living Infinitely Holy God, Elohim does NOT give us an identity based on our horizontal quests and fleshly desires and our fleshly accomplishments but based on His Precise Preordained and Predestined Paths which He has chosen for us in His Great Mercy, what we are to become as we walk daily, moment by moment in His Precise Preordained and Predestined Paths empowered by the Sanctification Ministry of the Indwelling Ruach HaKhodesh.

The secret is to receive that identity and believe it before you and I, before we see it. Live it as if it is because the One True Living Infinitely Holy God says so…. THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE, THE ONE TRUE LIVING INFINITELY HOLY GOD IN HIS GREAT MERCY HAS GIVEN YOU AND ME, US A NAME OF THAT WHICH IS NOT. LET US TRULY RECEIVE IT AND IT WILL BE. It is time to seek and truly live by our prophecy name. What is your prophecy name? Did you seek the One True Living Infinitely Holy God about it? Are you willing to go that extra-mile from this Shabbat to the next to understand and know more about your prophecy name which the One True Living Infinitely Holy God has already preordained for you as His beloved, as His redeemed Bride, as His Blood-bought bondservants? Will you please?
