Hello all viewers of my videos.
As in the last days I have received tons of comments regarding voiceover using AI on my channel, I decided to add a post here and stop responding to some of your comments. I'll try to explain this once and not come back to it.

Few months ago I was in a place where I had to make a decision. I either find a way to start monetizing videos and earn something more than just branding from Ball Hog Gloves, or I would have to shut down the channel. I simply couldn't treat this anymore like a hobby. And this is when I found out that I could monetize videos if I add music and voiceover.

For the years (around 13 already) when I was doing highlights with original audio from the games, I earned a total of 0$ directly from youtube. I had to find sponsors, but this money is not close to the amount I could earn from monetization of my videos.

I tried to do voiceover and music in multiple ways. I tried just music, didn't work. I tried just voiceover, without music, also didn't work. I tried to record my own voice, the quality of my accent was terrible, plus the speed of uploading videos was 3-4 times slower than now. The most optimal way of doing the highlights in a way I can earn money is the one right now.

I fully understand your complaints. I would not love this the same as you. But for me it is a choice between doing highlights this way or not doing them at all and shutting the channel down, which would be horrible, because I would have to throw away more than a decade of my work.

I hope you will understand, I hope some of you will stay with me. The numbers are promising because since the start of preseason, the number of subscribers already went up by 1k. But at the same time I understand a lot people being angry that I am doing highlights this way. I would love to give you something but I have to be honest. It will stay this way, unless youtube changes its policy. So if you can't stand the voiceover, please change the channel and find yourself another one. Don't spam me with comments like: "STFU, I want to listen to the game audio". Those comments will not change my decision.

And the last part. When I started doing highlights this way, I asked you to become supporters of the channel. By doing this I promised you to upload pure highlights without any voiceover and music and I did so until the end of the playoffs. But I stopped afterwards for three reasons:
1. It adds some risk to getting demonetized.
2. It requires much more work and time which I don't have.
3. It's not getting as much money as doing just highlights with voiceover and music. It's like for every 1$ earned from supporters, I am getting 40$ from voiceover videos.

I am sorry for that, I thank all supporters for taking this option, I fully understand if you stop supporting my channel from now on. But I had to be open and honest with you.

For few more days I will be redirecting people giving me bad comments to this post, but then I will stop. And I will no longer reply to such comments any more afterwards because it brings me a lot of anger when those comments are simple hatred.

Hi All!
As you've seen I am uploading now videos only with Voiceovers. And it will stay like this.
But to give you an option where you can watch the same highlights without voiceovers and without any ads like BallHog Gloves, you can become a member of the channel. Yes, there is a cost but not a big one - 1$ a month but then you get access to all my highlights without ads and voiceovers.
You can see where to find them on the images.

It's a compromise for both of us. I need to do highlights twice and you need to pay to see them.
I hope this is something you can accept because I really don't want to lose any of you.
Please try to understand that with this I am trying to keep this channel rolling. Otherwise I would have to close it.

Hi everyone!
I owe you some explanation because I see a lot of questions in the comments.
Yes, I added a voiceover to highlights. Why? Because this allows me to monetize those videos. And as you saw it some time ago, I am trying to find a way to somehow get some earnings out of the work that I've been doing for more than 10 years.
And yes, I know this is not the perfect solution, but this gives me an option to earn something. I've started doing this yesterday and I'm going to look for the better solution. Maybe it won't be AI, maybe it will be something else, but the voiceover will probably stay, because it allows me simply to earn some money.
Probably it would mean that the number of views is going to decrease. But to be honest, looking at the revenue I am getting per 1000 views on the videos with the voiceover, even if number of views goes down by 80%, I would still earn much more than I am doing now with the sponsoring of the channel.
I'm not stupid. I would prefer to have the channel without any ads interfering with watching the content. But if I didn't get anything out of it, the channel wouldn't exist.
So please bear with me, try to understand and if you stay with the channel, I will very appreciate.
