Albert is a licensed civil engineer and Janice is a journalist by profession, now embracing home life as a housewife. We worked for more than a decade in the Middle East before retiring.

We know that you were waiting for our Week 28 Home Build Update last night. Unfortunately, we won't be able to post anything on it as the files were accidentally deleted forever. Maybe it was God's way of telling us not to post it anymore.
You see, something terrible happened at the Project Site last week that led us to stop the work for a time, close the site and let go of some of our Teammates. π That was an extremely hard decision to make for us as a couple. We explained it in a video for Week 28 but it's nowhere to be found anymore. Only the screengrab (photo below) is what we have left. (Apologies, I don't mean to sound so dramatic π ).
The progress of our project will be affected as we are going to be a bit more strict now when it comes to recruiting crew members. But please know that it's for the best. It was done after careful consideration and prayers and consultation with the seniors in our Team. We are blessed to have Bro Danny and the rest of the crew with us. Praise God for them!
At the end of the day, we wanted the best for everyone and that meant to start anew with a smaller Team. Rest assured that we did not forget Colossians 4:1 for God's glory.
We hope to give you a good Week 29 Update next week. But don't worry as we have content lined up for this week about the other topics we talk about in this channel for OFW Investors. π
