Slow life on the Mulberry Farmhouse

Hi I’m Maia. Welcome to my peaceful life at Mulberry Hill Cottage in Lampang, north of Thailand. There I have 350 "Chiang Mai 60" mulberry trees.

My days at the cottage are mostly working in the garden, cooking & baking with fruits, berries, vegetables and flowers. And traveling to beautiful places!! 🥰

I live with my former police father and his cat. The first half of my life I grew up in Thailand, and another half in England, Switzerland and Sweden.

March-July or sometimes during autumn I'll be back to Switzerland

Sadly I didn’t go back to Switzerland this spring, main reason is because of my old cat and both her mental & physical health reasons. And I have been waiting for my chutney business project to get going, it’s been almost 8 months so far and I just received the chutney. I won’t have clips of Europe this summer I believe 🥲

Last winter Thailand was so cold that it has never been so for 40 years and then farmer burnt their fields during the dried period that caused fire on our farm. Unexpected rainstorms keep hitting our area, good & bad news is that I now have million mulberries to pick along with taking away grass to keep snakes, poisonous animals & insects away as they start to be active faster and longer due to the dramatically change of climate caused by global boiling.

With a lot of work, I have less time to catch up with Youtube work, both my own long clips and watching others 😩 Rainstorm comes with thunder and it’s impossible to keep the phone turned on during the day time. I get really exhausted these days and tend to fall asleep fast each evening. Not only my fingers, but other joints and muscles seem to show result of overused for 8 years, I don’t hope to become disable at the age of 45 🙏😅 I can hardly type these days and must speak to the phone and copy the words to paste instead. So please forgive me if I missed any updates, but I always try to catch up even a few days or weeks later 🙏😓
