Their knowledge helped shape modern herbalism and botany and still influences practices today. This work also explores ancestral ties to North America and possible biblical bloodlines, alongside emerging theories.

In clinical herbalism, intuition is a powerful tool. Both the practitioner and the client bring inner wisdom to the healing process. When we slow down and listen, we can feel what the body needs and sense which herbs are calling to help. Many herbalists build a deep intuitive connection with the plants themselves, learning their personalities and gifts beyond the books. Healing happens when we trust both knowledge and knowing. 🙏🏽

Culture shapes medicine and ethnicity shapes culture. Respecting our lineage and ethnic group is how we heal. These principles are deeply understood in medical anthropology yet rarely spoken about in herbalism or biomedicine. Culture is the lens through which we perceive and understand health and experience illness. More specific to this, are the unique impacts of sub-cultures (not always negative) on health perception and experience.
