Hello and welcome to my YouTube Channel! My name is James and I love to make videos for YouTube! I have a few interests in the technology and mechanical field. Here's a brief explanation of them: I am an elevator enthusiast which means I study how elevators work and identify brands and models. I post elevator videos the most since most of my viewers are also elevator enthusiasts. Some other interests I have are clocks, video games, other tech and mechanics, and more. For more information about my videos, check out my website. A link to it is posted down below in the link section.
Other Information:
Subscriber Specials - Movies that I release when I hit a certain amount of subscribers, the movie will be a normal video type I make and will normally be 45 min to 1 hour 15 min.
Vacation Movies - Movies I make when I travel somewhere.

Folks this is an inside look at the Howard Miller Warehouse in Zeeland Michigan. I made the 2.5 hour drive over here today as Howard Miller is closing their doors after 99 years of clock making and production. Stay tuned, there will be a video of the warehouses and a few clocks that I decided to purchase.
I had a great conversation with one of the workers at the sale who has worked for HM for over 30 years, really sad to see such an iconic clock company closing down along with the stories and memories that come with it. I plan to have the video up either next weekend or the following weekend.

Hi everyone, thank you for 10 years of video making on YouTube!! It was back on June 26th 2015 that I recorded and posted my very first YouTube video of a neat electronic deadbolt lock I saw at Home Depot. I’ve been watching videos on YouTube since 2014 but didn’t start creating videos until late June 2015. I can’t wait to see where I end up within the next 10 years and many more to come following that! Thank you once again, I’m very pleased to be sharing this huge milestone through my journey on YouTube!
Look out for a live stream tomorrow afternoon and evening to celebrate!
Also if you’d like to watch that particular video I posted 10 years ago, use this link to watch it: https://youtu.be/8YcLNHePyD0?si=9Bf_K...

Recently just returned from a trip to Las Vegas NV and St George Utah. Figured I’d shared some of the highlights of the trip. See the following for more info about each picture:
1. The original Schindler Miconic 10 panels and destination system in Las Vegas.
2. One of at least 15 US Soft Touch elevators I got to record in St George.
3. I had the opportunity to ride my first TK ISIS Elevator (NOTICE: ISIS refers to a model of elevator produced by ThyssenKrupp. It has nothing to do with terrorism)
4. Discovered an Otis Series 5 NEL in St George (3rd one I’ve discovered as a whole!)
5. A very nice US/Kimball Square Button in St George.
6. Got to ride my first Schindler 400A with regular HT fixtures in Downtown Las Vegas (Every 400A I rode before always had vandal resistant fixtures) And yes, HT buttons on 400As really do press differently than HT on 321As and 330As
7. The infamous “inclanator” elevators at the Luxor at the Strip in Las Vegas. These felt very weird to ride!

Clarkston elevators will finish up this Friday, starting Saturday I will begin uploading elevator videos from a city that is way overdue to be posted... Southfield! Southfield content will begin Saturday and will last for the next few months as I have roughly 200 videos from the area! Lots of good elevators in Southfield such as Southfield Town Center, the infamous "Windows XP" elevator, and much more!

Hope everyone is doing well, a couple more announcements:
1. I've recently updated my upload schedule, see the picture attached (click to enlarge). Siren videos will now be posted on Sunday to give me more time to edit and upload them as opposed to uploading them the same day or early the next day.
2. Hotel Tours are officially coming to channel! They will be uploaded on the 3rd Sunday of each month as seen in the schedule.
3. The 4000 Subscriber Special movie (Destination Dispatch Elevator Compilation) is expected to premiere on Sunday April 13th so stay tuned for that. A public watch page will be created after I finish making and uploading the movie to YouTube.
4. I plan to get the first video uploaded some time next on my new aviation channel. Here is a link to it Aviation Ace - @AviationAceDG737
5. Within the next few months, I plan to make all my databases publicly accessible all of you. My databases include elevator serial/license numbers of elevators/escalators I've recorded. Other databases include my maps of sirens, elevators, railroad crossings and hotel tours of locations I've recorded at as well. My goal is to have a page on my website linking to all my databases for anyone to access by the end of the summer.
Thanks for reading! Comment the word nugget if you made it this far!

Thank you everyone for 4,000 subscribers! Each and every one of you have helped me reach this next milestone, and because of that, this means a new subscriber special for this milestone will be released. This movie will be called the Destination Dispatch Movie which will be a compilation of elevators with destination dispatch systems. Since lately we've been going "destinations" with hitting a bunch of milestones over the past years, I figured this would be a cool compilation movie. The date is currently still to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
With that being said, there are 3 more announcements:
1. Subscribe to my newest channel! It is called @AviationAceDG737 and it will be my new airplane and aviation channel! Videos for this channel will be posted randomly as it will not be something I constantly go out to film content for on a regular basis.
2. Hotel tour videos will begin to be posted once a month on the 2nd second Saturday of each month.
3. Lastly, this will be an opportunity to prioritize some of my best content. Most of my content is posted based on age, the oldest videos I have tend to get prioritized for the next municipality uploaded. I am willing to prioritize elevator/escalator content from either Detroit MI or Honolulu HI if I reach 5,000 subscribers by the end of the year. I will let you guys pick one of the 2 to be prioritized if that happens, so vote below for either Detroit or Honolulu

Hope everyone is doing well, recently just returned from a 2 week vacation to Hawaii, and while I was on vacation I noticed how close I was getting to reaching 4,000 subscribers! So thank you to everyone for your continued support for my channel and videos. Now that we are getting close, there are 3 things that will happen for 4K and they are the following:
1. There will be a 4,000 subscriber special movie which will be called the Destination Dispatch Movie or something like that and it will be a compilation of all or most of the destination dispatch elevators I have filmed.
2. I will be opening a brand new channel! Lately I have begun the process of working on a new channel, now this one won't have weekly uploads but videos rather to be posted spontaneously considering this will be a channel of a hobby that I will not film content regularly for. The channel will be announced when I reach 4,000 subs as it is still currently in progress of being set up.
3. Lastly, hotel tours are coming to the channel! Having started making them back in 2021, I have quite a few hotel and resort tours just backlogged and waiting to be posted. I will be posting these once a month, and I'm probably going to post them on the 2nd saturday of the month (1st saturday of the month is typically siren tests while the rest will be elevator videos). So definitely look for all of those coming real soon!
