I began making electronic music in 2012 under the name Cursedsnake.
After my apprenticeship as a painter, my life took a turn in 2019
when I chose to switch profession and discovered my true passion for horses.
Because of that I changed my artist name to Horsed- because I got “horsed” :)
I mostly make progressive trance and ambient tracks, but I also explore
other electronic genres to experiment and mix styles.

I’ve just started a new track and recorded the whole process. I’ll upload these sessions along with the finished track once it’s done. It's probably going to be a very long video so I reduced the video quality to a minimum- audio quality will be fine.

A short note about my music: In recent years there’s been a rise in AI-generated music. Personally, I’ve never even looked into it - because, as many artists will understand, I don’t like the concept. To me it’s like winning the lottery and suddenly having everything - there’s no process, no work behind it; it just appears, and it feels empty. Sure, you could take a few snippets or ideas from an AI-generated track and build something from that, but I think there’s a risk in realizing how easy and fast it is for AI; you might slowly drift into relying on fully AI-made tracks. So my music is not, and will not be AI-generated in any way - not even as “inspiration.” It’s made by me, just for the fun of it.

Ok from the poll down there it's pretty clear what I should do.
I just gave it a little go, recorded myself and man I suck at this!
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻sʅɐᴉɹoʇnꓕ┻
But I am determined to practice- since I should talk more anyway
because of my stuttering; I'm going to see it as a little speech exercise.
And I'm definitely doing a little scripting for my next try.
Maybe write a few FL-Studio topics you would like to explore below,
so I don't have to break down the entire FL-Documentation.

In case I fail, I can always fall back to the streaming and just do things.
Occasionally look at the stream comments and perhaps explain a few things there.

See ya!

Horsed

Hello again. Now that my studies are starting soon,
I finally seem to have time for some extra effort around my music!
(I know I said that a few times but this time I think I mean it.)

I set up a Patreon because I’ll be working fewer hours and studying more.
www.patreon.com/cw/Horsed
Think of it as funding two critical projects: more music and
the lab budget for “Can a whinny be a lead synth"?

I’ll post track previews there and give access to my tutorials
once I figure out how to put things together.

There's a poll below about that- need to figure out what to start with.

There's also a new community server I set up on Element (Check Patreon).
It's not as polished as Discord but it's more secure and private.
I've been watching it get better since I joined and I really like it.
It’s very easy to moderate when I’m the only one there :)

Anyway here's the poll- or maybe above- I don't know where YouTube will put it:

Ooh feels nice! Got away from Tunecore, reuploaded all my tracks to the new service, my studies are doing great and I think I'll make a little more DnB in the future- already played around and tried to make a few beats. Drum and bass's actually been a fav genre of mine for quite some time but the last few weeks I really got into it. So be prepared for a little higher BPM in the next tracks maybe :3

Alright! The tracks should now be back on Spotify, along with a few additional older and newer ones.
I was limited to 35 tracks per album; otherwise, I would have created one huge album.
Here it is: open.spotify.com/intl-de/artist/5p0fdG6MIEFGJHRS9e…
Other sites might take a bit longer, but that's outside of my control (DistroKid).

As for Bandcamp, I'll take my time because I want to write a nice description for each track-
assuming I can recall some details about them. By the way, I really like how Bandcamp looks.

While I'm at it, I'll also review the genre of each track and create a few playlists here on my channel.
When I started making music years ago, I wasn't really sure about genres,
and nowadays they seem to blend together more and more.

The reason I'm so active right now is because I'm currently on holiday.
During my next holiday, I might start planning a structure for my streams and/or tutorials.

Horsed

Hi everyone,

I'm still busy with my studies, but my grades are very good, and I'm really happy about that.
I don't intend to stop making music- don't worry. However, my music ideas have been decreasing lately, even though I've recently gotten back into the flow a little. That’s why I keep pondering about whether I should finally go through with my streaming or tutorial idea. This way, people could benefit from my years of experience with FL-Studio. But I always put it off because I've never made any tutorials, and I don't like talking at all.

For data protection reasons, I will no longer be using Discord. I requested my data from them and I was concerned- they really save everything, and it feels completely different when you actually see it for yourself.
My alternative now is element.io/. It's not as polished as Discord, but it’s enough for me.
That being said, I'm also going to delete my Snake Pit Discord server on April 1st, so you still have some time to keep in touch with the people you've connected with there.

Since I won't be using Tunecore anymore, my two published albums will be removed from all stores and Spotify in the next few weeks, as I'm switching to Bandcamp/DistroKid. I will re-publish them along with my newer tracks as well, but it’s going to take some time.

Ah yes... did I mention I love horses? From now on, my music will be released under my new artist name Horsed! I admit it wasn't my first choice; the other option was a tongue twister and already taken anyway, so Horsed is fine—short and simple. Got a new logo, a new visualizer video for Youtube and some channel artwork ready. And don't worry- no complete reuploading of all my videos. I thought about it but... no.

In the next few weeks, I'll likely discontinue using Tunecore because, in my case, their support is virtually non-existent and it's really annoying. This means all of my music will disappear from all stores, including Spotify, until I've found an alternative. At the moment, I'm leaning towards YouTube/Adsense and Spotify; once Spotify has its upcoming upload feature ready.

Once I can sort out how much time I have left alongside my studies at the "Fachhochschule" by the end of the year, my plans are still to start streaming again. I'll work on tracks, samples, or whatever I feel like creating at the time.
I do have a few tracks almost ready, so maybe in the next two months, there'll be new music!
