The truth is that lately I am mostly overwhelmed. Not in a bad way, mind you. It's very exciting and fulfilling, but it's all new, and for me, that's uncomfortable...
So much transpired in such a short period of time, I find myself challenged to summarize it all in a meaningful way. The bakery is officially up and running. I've landed my first wholesale account here in Sedona, and have been steadily building day by day.
It's been a long time since I've been in this space of things being so new and pristine.
For someone who has reinvented themselves as many times as I have, you'd think I'd be used to this process by now. I'd like to say it has been like riding a bike.
What's more accurate though would be to say "It's been like riding a bike, after you've woken up from a head injury and have realized you have amnesia and now you have to learn how to ride a bike again."

July has been, for me anyway, the month where things really start to take off.
The acceleration from this point forward always takes me by surprise. This year, which seems to moving along at a ripping pace already, it feels especially fast.
Shifting gears into building the bakery has been a fascinating exercise. Not that I was expecting that.
Honestly, building this bakery has been about freedom and joy and the excitement of following my intuitive hits.
I'm not hyping myself up to build a baking empire. Nor am I doing something as facile as constructing a "5 year plan..."
I figured out a way to walk out of the room that doesn’t require going scorched earth.
It does require me to actually follow through on what I said I was going to do. It allows me to do it in a way that makes sense and is sustainable.
Yesterday, I canceled a bunch of unnecessary apps that were nothing but a financial drain. They were useful at one point, but now they just suck up resources unnecessarily... FULL POST tinyurl.com/bdf585re

Things feel like such a roller coaster right now. I was a bit surprised at how much the javalinas destroying my plants affected me.
I suppose when so much is uncertain and undefined in my life, I become very attached to the things I can directly control. Plus the fact that, for me, there’s a very real emotional investment into the plants I grow. They are more than plants, they’re my babies.

My gosh... what a month July was!

Tomorrow is the Solstice.
The arrival of Summer here in the Northern hemisphere.
Regardless of the season, what this day offers is a threshold.
An actual line in the sand between what was and what now is.
There's something else though.
Something that I cannot stop chewing on.
This idea that has become so rampant in the current spiritual landscape.
This disempowering, distorted idea that WAITING is a necessary part of the experience.
Timing is one thing, sure.
