It seems as if, over the past few days, a switch has been flipped. The dense and heavy energy of late is swiftly exiting stage left, and the much lighter and more active energy is flooding in.
Compared to how things have felt [for me personally anyway] in the recent past, this energy feels positively kinetic!
Suddenly, any sense of sluggishness or delay is gone.
I mean, I knew that this year was going to come on like a galloping horse (pun intended), but I guess I underestimated exactly what that meant!
The way that this uptick in the energy has manifested itself in my day to day life has been an unexpected rush of creative energy!
Honestly, it feels like I've been more productive during the first two weeks of February than I have in the past few years combined.

Growing up, it was clear to me early on that most people weren’t operating on the same level of awareness that I was. Though I didn’t understand why, it was obvious to me that my mere presence made a lot of people very uncomfortable. Which, as a deeply empathic person, made me very uncomfortable. I didn’t fully grasp why this discomfort was a thing, and as is the case with many souls who walk the path of service, I assumed it was my responsibility to help people not feel uncomfortable in my presence.
I also didn’t realize that assuming responsibility for how others felt about me meant I would carry a lot of unnecessary baggage in the name of other people. Seriously, the amount of stuff I have held onto without even realizing it is staggering.
A byproduct of the belief that I had to ensure people felt at ease in my company was that I got really good at shapeshifting. My intuitive and empathic gifts helped me cultivate the skill of reading people in a split second. Over time, my ability to deduce what someone needed in order to not be threatened by me became a superpower. Whatever you needed me to be, so that you could feel comfortable around me, is what I would become. What started as a means of survival eventually became a way of being. I got so good at morphing into what everyone else needed, I inevitably lost myself. Decades of putting the needs of other people before mine slowly began to erode my faith and trust in my own instincts...
