Sonny loved it. Then he got hold of the clippers.

I went looking for garden inspiration in the Kent countryside. What I found was something I never saw coming.

Stopped at a little plant sale outside someone's house. Met Jenny. Her garden was extraordinary — the way she talked about colour and form, I was properly stopped in my tracks. It took me straight back to 2018, when I was amplifying musicians for @DaleChihuly glass art at Kew Gardens.

Then Brian walks out. Coffee. Cake. Former professional guitarist. We talked music for an hour.

Later that night: filming a Nathalie shay gig at Oslo in Hackney. The next morning: back to Jenny's with a Chihuly calendar that felt like it was always meant for her.
