Karim Khan Citadel is one of the most important historical landmarks in Shiraz. It was built during the Zand dynasty by the order of Karim Khan Zand. Located in the heart of Shiraz, the citadel served both as the seat of government and the residence of Karim Khan. Its architecture is a blend of military structure and royal residence, featuring four circular towers at each corner and high surrounding walls.
One of the citadel's most interesting features is its southeastern tower, which is noticeably tilted. This tilt was caused by ground settlement and moisture, leading many to compare it to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Ramadan Mubarak
The holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is a time for self-purification, strengthening faith, and drawing closer to God. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, refraining from eating and drinking while dedicating themselves to prayer, supplication, and recitation of the Quran. The Nights of Qadr, which occur in this month, are among the most blessed nights, offering a chance for forgiveness and the acceptance of prayers. Ramadan also fosters compassion and generosity toward the less fortunate. It is a time for self-discipline, patience, and spiritual cleansing. At the end of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is celebrated as a festival of gratitude and devotion.
