3 days of sunsets, beach hopping, markets, and so much good food plus a random santa claus parade that got thrown into the mix (you have to watch the video to know!)
Here’s a peek at what made our trip unforgettable! 💛 If you want to see more of our trip, check out the full length video on YouTube “Staying in Tamarindo, Costa Rica”
I was lucky enough this year to be surrounded by family for the holidays, especially my best friend and husband, Luis! Naturally, I took some time off to just be with them.
As you may know, last year my holiday season was pretty much a nightmare come to life, with daily hospital visits and loneliness in general (with the exception of some of the nicest people I know) and this year I can say was the complete opposite.
I am grateful for life and for my loved ones! …And the tamales that were gifted to us along the way 😌
I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season and start to the new year! I am really looking forward to another year of sharing my Costa Rica life and adventures with you guys!
🚨Live Stream🚨 Join me tomorrow at 12:30 (CR time) as I walk through the Chocolate and Coffee Market, tasting and browsing over 25 vendor's creations! youtube.com/live/tfaio6qoOcM
This is one of my favourite reasons to visit a farmers market here in Costa Rica - you never know what you might find! Here are a few of things many fruits I have come across in the last month. If you want to know more about them, go check out my newest video on YouTube where I show them and taste them!
In these shots we have breadfruit, cacao, mangostan amarillo (however I am starting to think it is zapote colombiano), tree tomato, dragon fruit, mangosteen, jocote, and mamón chino (not in order).
Today at 12pm we are going live from the San Isidro "Fería del Productor Generaleño" Farmer's market! Come join me to see what it's all about, I hear it's pretty big! youtube.com/live/orjyMJe8f0U
We went to Puntarenas just to get some GOOD seafood!
Well, not really, we went for some business matters, but in all reality going to Puntarenas for seafood is the best idea EVER, considering it is the fishing hub of Costa Rica 🇨🇷
✨ If you go, make sure you get a ceviche - I can guarantee you that it will be the best you will have in all the country a it’s fresh, a little sour, a little salty and goes down well with an ice cold drink (🍺 ideally)
✨the food is CHEAPER! Because Puntarenas isn’t intensively trafficked with foreign tourists, the prices are much more accessible in comparison to say, Manuel Antonio
✨ BOCAS (snacks): Puntarenas is great for this, where if you go to a bar or restaurant and order a variety of things, or more than a couple of drinks, you might just find your server placing a little snack to sample on your table, at NO CHARGE! For me, this is a small tactic that wins me over every time, plus, it will convince me to order more - it’s a win-win!
Check out Marisquería Kaite Negro for a delicious lunch right on the main strip of Puntarenas, where you can feel the ocean vibes coming from across the street while you enjoy your meal 😋 I know this will be a new “must stop” for me every time I visit El Puerto
Today at 10:30am we are going live from the Dominical Eco-Feria Farmer's Market! If you missed last week's show feel free to bring questions, and explore the market with me! youtube.com/live/ydgcecRg3Sg?si=k41iV8Fj3epQ-RHh
This season is so pretty, and you can really see why the rain is so important to the forests here in Costa Rica. Visit for yourself in the “rainy” season, to see the true reason why it is so nice in comparison to “dry” season!

The Dominical Eco Fería is lively and eclectic!
What can you find?
☀️handmade food products such as sauces, jams, nut butters, vinegars, medicinal teas and fermented foods
☀️ handmade jewelry, essential oils blends, clothing, stickers
☀️baked goods, fresh produce (some organic), flowers
And to top it all off, live music, pet rescue centre adoptions, and a soda run by locals so you can get your gallo pinto all the while
