It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):

“I asked the Messenger of Allah: O Messenger of Allah, what do you think—if I come to know which night is the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), what should I say in it?

The Prophet ﷺ said:
Say: ‘O Allah, indeed You are Most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me.’
(Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuḥibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni).”
(Reported by Tirmidhi)

Commentary:
This is the best supplication (du‘a) a person can make on that night. Whoever recites this supplication will receive goodness in this world (Dunya) and in the Hereafter (Akhirah), in sha Allah.
