⚠️ TIP: Get both versions — the General and the Muslim. Mix them together, and your evenings with your child will become even more engaging and meaningful.
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
“I asked the Messenger of Allah: O Messenger of Allah, what do you think—if I come to know which night is the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), what should I say in it?
The Prophet ﷺ said: Say: ‘O Allah, indeed You are Most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me.’ (Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuḥibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni).” (Reported by Tirmidhi)
Commentary: This is the best supplication (du‘a) a person can make on that night. Whoever recites this supplication will receive goodness in this world (Dunya) and in the Hereafter (Akhirah), in sha Allah.
