Hot take: Old marvel and dc comics and media (Including marvel and dc animation and movies) beats modern marvel and dc in writing and narration wise.
Most aspects of modern marvel and DC are mid in terms of both writing and narration including their main continuities, as they are being dragged along for the sake of being milked out for cash by greedy corporations. Newer instalments are just churned by newer and inexperienced authors/writers who have no experience nor ideas about what they made the superhero characters loved and iconic in the first place, and it’s a sad reality that those same authors would likely ruin the characters and change them up into former shells of themselves. Narration wise, it’s hard to start and begin from point one about the stories of superheroes and how their journeys began in the first place without getting constant retcons and reworks just to be fit in the newer generations, making it hard to digest.
Powerscalers may enjoy modern stuff thanks to the constant character evolution and “buffs” the superhero’s receive (In which they are only good as their community is populated by them by a large percentage), but overall the ongoing main continuities of both marvel and dc are just mid in writing narration.

The fact that people still put fnaf in scaling is beyond me, the main continuity from the games barely has any feats that get them past street level. And for the people who are glazing Springtrap as a powerful supernatural entity from building level to city block, y'all need to act up he got reduced more into scrap and got himself withered away slowly. The fnaf novels are not even canon at all, and now get those glorified chuck e cheese rejects outa here.
Even William Afton is a bigger scaling fraud than Steve.

Funny how a single Kablammer from Max Brass negs the overrated 8C fodder Steve, he can just speed blitz him with dual hammers. A single hammer can get to multi building level and dual hammers are city block level.
