I was lucky enough to stay at the Taronga Zoo to watch the Sydney Fireworks! I recorded both the 9PM and Midnight displays. Would you be interested in seeing the recordings?
Tonight is the final night of 2025 but also the final night of Cube Night Club in Canberra. Cube was my first gay bar, I attended most Thursday nights as a student and every Homo High and Masqueerade party. I am sad to see it go but I haven't been in years. Fortunately a new gay bar has opened up and it promises to serve the queer community better than Cube did.
Thank you Cube for the many nights partying, making new friends and being safe place to be gratuitously gay!
Here is a Michael Jackson performance I did in 2014 as part of a talent contest they held. I think I came third but I put on a hell of a show!
If you want something to watch that isn't the cricket or reruns of cooking shows. Check out my Canberra Queer History panel I did with CMAG back in November for SpringOut!
On this day, 30th November 1998, Ozisoft launched the Sega Dreamcast in Australia. Hoping it would be an Aussie Dream, the launch was actually a total nightmare!
It will run from 13th September to the 12th October. Due to Light Rail Construction, parking will be limited so it best to plan your trip and advance and take advantage of any shuttles that are availble.
But before you go, impress your family and friends with a bit of history of the event!
Over the years I have made several videos with many takes. What you see in the final video is the best take. But with that there are a lot of bloopers. Would you be interested in a blooper reel?

I worked in the tea industry for 5 years so I have a few opinions about this ancient beverage! Check them out below.
War has shaped Australia in many ways. From the people who served to the monuments we build. This is just one small connection between wart and our monuments.
Between 2000-2002 Canberra hosted the V8 Supercars on a street circuit through the National Triangle. Held on the June long weekend, fans complained about the cold and the locals about the road closures and noise.

Today maybe Valentine's day but the real celebration is that it has been 60 years since Australia changed over the decimal currency!
