Heya fellas. Hope you've been doin well and have been enjoying Elden Ring's Updates. Lovin the colosseum so far (still wish 6 players could at least show up in select areas in the game. Maybe legacy dungeons).
PvP as a whole has improved drastically in my opinion in the last couple of months than where we were (remember patch 1.05 💀💀). There's still a lot that can be done to make it more enjoyable for sure. I'm hoping the inevitable DLC/Updates surprise us. The fact Elden Ring won Game of the Year was also nice to see and I was hoping for it to win so it could motivate the team to continue supporting it. Miyazaki even made a comment saying just that during the speech. I'm holding off on making any videos, at least for the "Invasion Cookbook" as recent updates have been churning out and adjusting a lot of things. Smaller videos are not out of the question though.
Anyway, with Christmas coming so close, I wanted to share some of the artwork I've been doing. Hope you like this first piece. Take care and stay safe. 👋🏼
Heya fellas, the other day I was reminiscing about Dark Souls 3 and Dried Finger Runs. One Key aspect to DF runs working among friends, was the Moundmaker Covenant. In DS3, it worked rather well due to the increase in player count during multiplayer (6-players) and provided a wild card in the typical host/phantom(s) v.s. Invaders since they could attack/be attacked by everyone for their separate covenant agenda.
In Elden Ring, we have no such thing let alone covenants. When the DLC arrives, I hope they revisit this idea as it could certainly add some more spice to multiplayer interactions. Maybe their objective's could be randomized as a summon, and as an invader they could have an incentive to target an invader/cooperater over the host. For an incentive to summon a Frenzied Finger, maybe the host could earn more runes, get more item discovery, or get a special item. Just spitballing. I do hope somehow they increase the player count, and if they implemented wex dust of all things, then maybe it's not such a wild thing to ask for.
Also, this was made in Photoshop by myself in some spare time in between work to represent how it could possibly look like and included some lore. Hope you like it. Any chance you miss Moundmakers or the idea it represented? Would you like to see it return in a possible patch/DLC?
Hard swapping- Switching weapons/gear through the menu while in combat/exploring
Interested to see some takes on this as through my time playing soulsborne and their PvP, I have never seen such a stance against hard swapping as much as in Elden Ring. If you feel like it, share your reasoning with your decision in the comments.
T-shirt, T-shirt, get your Patch 1.05 T-Shirt here! In all seriousness, this uproar about the latest patch """ruining""" the game is loud. The official account even tweeted out which I can only assume is them seeing the uproar and addressing it. Hopefully change arrives sooner rather than later. Stay safe.
Heya fellas. Long time no see! Hope you've been doin well and that 2022 aint being too rough on ya. This is my first post ever so I guess I'll just say thank you for 1K subscribers!! Super generic and I know most will see this exact phrase from other youtubers, but genuinely, thank you for the support. Y'all make this hobby fun and I hope to connect with y'all with future vids. On another note, for the recent vid I made, I created some "Lore" down below. Originally I had the idea in DS3 but was never able to make a vid on it. Now in Elden Ring though, I think there are plenty of "element" type vids to make. I'll see ya later friend, have a great day.
"Tarnished, guided by grace to the Elden Ring, are vast and many. Those who are defeated in battle may rise again and again but there are those who lose grace and soon, themselves. When a Tarnished has lost not only their body, but their spirit, alternative forces may seek refuge in a vessel that has lost its way. Such forces manifest in the way of 'Spirits' harboring elemental abilities. Spirits are rare, but Acolytes are more common to appear using their abilities."
-Lost Legend: Spirit of Wind-
A lowly Tarnished who originally lost his way in Stormveil Castle. Before perishing, he was surrounded by strong winds which enveloped him. When the wind settled, he had become invigorated by a new power. The newly born Spirit had been born from the Tarnished who yearned for freedom now truly free from his duty, but also his body. Now the Spirit roams the perimeter of Stormveil, seeking those who may attempt to challenge Godrick the Grafted.

In Elden Ring PvP, is Hard swapping a bad thing?
