Hi everyone! I wanted to share an update with y’all because I’m a very transparent person and reading/YouTube has always been an outlet for me. As I’ve talked about in a few recent videos, I have been struggling with back to back health issues this year. This first began with issues affecting my vision which was terrifying and there was a period of time I wasn’t sure if I would be able to physically read books the same way again (thank goodness for audiobooks). Sadly once I got my eye issues under control with a few laser surgeries on my retina, I began having issues affecting my hearing. I have had more doctors appts this year than I’ve probably had in my entire life combined trying to find answers. The best solution we have found so far is that a TMJ disorder is actually what is causing my auditory issues. (Who knew the jaw could affect the ear?) As you can imagine this has been impacting how much I’m reading, but I now have to limit how much I’m talking as well to rest my jaw as much as possible. I am beginning treatment to hopefully provide some relief very soon so I’m hoping to be back to my regular posting schedule when I’m able. I wanted to share to be open with you all as it’s breaking my heart to not be regularly reading and making content when that’s all I want to do 💔 I’ll be putting all my focus into getting healthy so I can be back soon.
