1 Qalementos chapter 7 is here! For those of you who don't know, I am currently translating the Ethiopic books of Clement (aka Qalementos) from an old French periodical, which is the only public domain translation I could find of these books in a modern language. Here is chapter 7!
If you are still taking the words of Senator Thomas Massie as credible truth, you should apply some more critical thinking and reconsider. He adamantly claims that he knows at least six members of Congress who are implicated in the Epstein files, but he has yet to name a single one. To me, he just sounds like that one kid at every elementary school who would make outlandish claims for clout, like, "I can fly, but only when no one else is looking." This is not to say that no government official could possibly be implicated in the Epstein files, or that there isn't corruption in the government, but the fact that Massie has given a specific number of people implicated seems to imply that he knows six specific government officials that were in on Epstein's conspiracy. If he actually knows the names of congressmen who were in on it, isn't it his duty to share their names with the public? Clearly Massie's so-called "pursuit of truth" is nothing more than a grift, kind of like Steve Bannon. Speaking of Bannon, if you still believe anything that man says, you should really take a look at the literal hours of video footage and pages of texts and emails that show Steve Bannon trying to resuscitate Epstein's reputation after he was incriminated. I generally find Trump's name-calling unhelpful to his agenda, but Sloppy Steve is a well-earned name for the guy who was in on the Epstein conspiracy and is demanding that the files are released.
1 Qalementos chapter 6 is here! For those of you who don't know, I am currently translating the Ethiopic books of Clement (aka Qalementos) from an old French periodical, which is the only public domain translation I could find of these books in a modern language. Here is chapter 6!
1 After their expulsion from paradise, Adam and Eve remained one hundred years in great affliction, (in) tears and and lamentations. Then they descended from the holy mountain, at the base of which they remained. There Adam knew Eve; she conceived; the time of her delivery arrived; and she gave birth to twins, Cain and his sister, ᵃLoud. Again, she conceived; the time of her delivery arrived; she gave birth to twins, Abel and his sister, ᵇ'Âqlâmyâ.
2 The sons and the daughters grew up and reached the age of marriage. Adam said to Eve: "Behold, the Lord has made these children to grow up." It was therefore just that Cain should marry 'Âqlâmyâ, the sister of Abel, and that Abel should marry Loud, the sister of Cain. Thus they resolved the matter. But Cain said to Eve: "O my mother, you must give unto me my sister, who was born with me, that she may become my wife, and you must give unto Abel she who was born with him, so that she may become his wife." Indeed, the form and the appearance of Loud were more beautiful than (those) of 'Âqlâmyâ; (Loud) resembled her mother, Eve. When Adam had heard these words, he was extremely sad and grieved. He said to Cain, "O my son, that which you desire is contrary to the law." Indeed, you must not marry your sister, who was born with you. At that moment, jealousy entered into Cain, and he resolved to kill his brother.
3 Then Adam said unto Cain and unto Abel: Choose the purest fruits that you can find, of the fruits of the earth, and (the purest) lamb from among the offspring of the sheep; bring them to the height of the holy mountain; enter into the Cave of Treasures; pray there before the Lord, and present (unto the Lord), as an offering, that which you bring by way of fruits and of lambs. When you make such an offering, you shall each take your wife. As for them, they did as their father, Adam, had commanded (them).
4 While they were climbing the mountain, Satan entered Cain, who knowingly resolved to kill Abel. Then they made their offering before the Lord. The Lord accepted the sacrifice of Abel, but repudiated the sacrifice of Cain. Indeed, the Most High Lord knew the thoughts of Cain (and knew) that he desired to kill his brother. When Cain saw that the Lord had accepted the sacrifice of Abel but had repudiated his sacrifice, jealousy, indignation, and wrath increased within him.
5 As they descended from the mountain, Cain carried himself away in wrath against Abel, took a stone, struck him on the crown of the head, and killed him. The Lord cursed Cain and made a ᵃmark to come upon him. Cain became restless and anguished for the rest of his life. The Lord made him descend from the holy mountain with his wife, and banished him to the cursed land of ᵇÂksâryâ, where he remained.
6 Adam and Eve experienced a great affliction over Abel for one hundred years. Then Adam knew Eve. She conceived and bore Seth, (who became) a handsome, strong, powerful, and perfect man. In his ᵃappearance, he resembled his father, Adam. The Lord loved him and chose him, that he might become the father of all the mighty men of the earth. He married Loud. First, Seth begat ᵇHenos. Henos begat ᶜQâynân. Qâynân fathered ᵈMalâlêl. Indeed, these fathers were born during days of the life of Adam. Adam lived 950 years.

1 "Behold, you shall instruct your sons to guard your body after you are dead, (to embalm it) with aloes and with myrrh, and to place it in the Cave of Treasures, until your sons depart from the holy mountain and the places neighboring the paradise of joy, and return to the cursed land. Command those of your sons who will be alive then to take your body with them and bring it to the place that I myself will indicate to them. Indeed, in the place where they place your body, that is the place where shall be your salvation as well as the salvation of all your children.
2 The Lord revealed to Adam all the affliction, the torment, and the suffering that would come upon him, and commanded (him) to bear them patiently in all things. When Adam and Eve were cast out of paradise, the Lord placed there an angel of fire, in whose hand was a sword of fire. Adam and Eve lived on the holy mountain, called Matäryon. It was at the height of (this mountain) where was the location of the paradise of happiness. They remained there, in a cave, on the top of the mountain, and lived as pure virgins. Then, when Adam wanted to sleep with Eve, he took from the height of the holy mountain, beneath ᵃparadise, some gold—about a hundred didrachmas—some myrrh, and some incense. He sanctified them and blessed them in the cave, for he had made it a ᵇhouse of prayer.
He gave unto Eve the gold, the myrrh, and the incense, and said unto her, "Take your ᶜdowry, and preserve it carefully, until all these presents these are offered unto the Son of the Lord, at the time of his coming into the world. The gold, it is the ᵈsign of his royalty. The incense, (it is the sign of) the nature of his divinity. The myrrh, (it is the sign) which will be given for his death and for the entombment of the body that he will receive from us. Let this serve as a testimony between you and me unto our Savior, when he shall come into the world!" Adam called this cave the Cave of Treasures.

1 Qalementos chapter 4 is here! For those of you who don't know, I am currently translating the Ethiopic books of Clement (aka Qalementos) from an old French periodical, which is the only public domain translation I could find of these books in a modern language. Here is chapter 4!
1 Satan continued, according to his malice, to be jealous of Adam and Eve, concerning all the grace which had been given to them by the Lord. Then he seized the opportunity to enter into the serpent, whose form and appearance were more beautiful than those of all the other animals and beasts. Indeed, the first creature (into which he had entered) had resembled the calf of a camel. Then Satan transported the serpent, lifted it into the air, and brought it to paradise. The reason why Satan hid himself in the serpent, whose form and appearance were beautiful, was that, when the Lord had taken from Satan the grandeur of his glory, his appearance had become extremely ᵃhideous. Not one of all the creatures could look upon his face. If Eve had seen him, without him having hid within the serpent, surely she would not have spoken to him, and she would have fled (far away) from him. But he seized the opportunity to hide himself within the serpent. Thus he went about as if he was one who teaches a bird the language of man. He takes therefore a clear mirror and places it between himself and the bird. He speaks according to his pleasure and teaches the bird. The bird, seeing its own reflection in the mirror, whose appearance it does not disdain, believes that the image in the mirror, is truly the one speaking to it. It approaches the image, and quickly learns the language (of men). Thus did Satan when he entered the serpent.
2 He went to Eve, while she was alone in paradise, and called her by her name. She turned back towards him and saw his reflection. She talked with him; he seduced her with his speech. Indeed, the female creature is weak and believes everything she hears. As for him, with his great malice, he spoke to her about the tree that was in paradise, and explained to her how delicious its fruit was. He said to her, "If you eat of it, you will become God." As for her, she desired to eat the fruit of the tree, whose sweetness he had boasted of unto her. Indeed, she had ᵃnot previously heard the commandment that the Most High Lord had prescribed to Adam concerning the tree. At that very moment, she rose up eagerly, went to the tree, and took some of the fruit, which she desired. Then she called Adam, (who) came unto her quickly. She gave him fruit from the tree and said to him, "If you eat of it, you will become God." As for him, he hearkened unto the words of Eve and desired to become God, as she had told him.
3 When they had eaten of it, they were stripped of the grace which was upon them, and the light with which they were clothed, it departed from them. When they saw themselves stripped of the grace that was upon them, behold their shameful parts were uncovered. At that moment, they made themselves loincloths of fig leaves, with which they girded and covered their shameful parts. They were in great affliction, on the third hour. Indeed, Adam had entered paradise on the third hour on Friday. (Eve and he) had remained in the spiritual grace and the royalty, had been given unto them by the Lord, on the third hour. The Lord judged them on the third hour. On the ninth hour, their departure from paradise took place, against their will, in great affliction, (in) tears and lamentations. After they had clothed themselves with fig leaves, the Lord clothed them with a garment of skin, that is to say, the skin that is on our flesh, a garment of suffering and affliction.
4 When Adam and Eve were cast out of paradise, they dozed off and slept to the east of paradise. When (Adam) awoke from (his) sleep, the Lord spoke to Adam and said to him, "Grieve not, Adam, behold, I will return you to your former state, from which I did cast you because you transgressed my commandment. For now, understand therefore that it is because of your love (for earthly things) that I have cursed the earth. I did not spare it because of your fault and your sin. Furthermore, I did curse the serpent, which seduced Eve. I placed his hands and his feet into his belly, and I appointed dust for his food. But you, I did not curse you. I condemned Eve to be under your feet. Understand, therefore, that when you have fulfilled your destiny, which is to remain on the cursed earth, behold, I will send my beloved Son. He will descend from heaven to the earth, and will take upon himself the flesh of the Virgin, named Mary. I will choose her from your lineage; I will purify her; I will sanctify her in the succession of generations which shall follow the generations, and the people which will follow the people, until the time of the descent of the Son (coming) from heaven. At that time will take place your first salvation, and you will return to your inheritance."
1a A similar change is said to have happened to the Grigori who followed Satan in 2 Enoch 18:1–4. 2a This statement that Eve did not hear the commandment not to eat of the tree is interesting. On one hand, Genesis 2:16–22 and 1 Qalementos 3:5–6 imply that the commandment was given before the creation of Eve. On the other hand, Genesis 3:2–3 makes it clear that Eve was aware of the commandment when Satan beguiled her. The French word SG uses is "entendu", which can mean either "heard" or "understood", although he ususally uses the verb "entender" for "to hear" and "comprendre" for "to understand".
