I just want to say thank you. ❤️🙏

A little while ago, I asked all of you to pray for a friend of mine who is going through something no one should ever have to face.

And you did.

People I've never met stopped what they were doing and prayed for someone they've never met.

Think about that for a second.

In a world where it's so easy to scroll past somebody else's pain, you stopped.

You prayed. You left words of encouragement. You showed love to a complete stranger simply because another human being was hurting.

That's when I realized something about Broken Roots.

Somewhere along the way, this stopped being just a music channel.

We've got people here fighting battles nobody knows about. People grieving. People scared. People trying to hold their families together. People questioning their faith. People who sometimes come into these comments because they just need somebody to remind them they're not standing alone.

And time after time, I've watched this community show up for them.

I don't know what tomorrow holds for my friend. I wish I did.

But I know those prayers meant more to me than I can put into a song or a post.

So from the bottom of my heart...

Thank you.

Thank you for praying for my friend.

Thank you for praying for each other.

Thank you for being there when somebody in this community says, “I'm struggling.”

And please don't ever stop doing that.

Because someday the person asking for prayer might be a stranger in the comments.

Someday it might be me.

And someday it might be you.

We may all come from different places and carry different scars, but when one of us is hurting, we don't leave them standing there alone.

That's what I want Broken Roots to always be.

Not subscribers.
Not views.
Not numbers on a screen.

People.

Broken people praying for broken people.

And somehow, through God...

we keep each other standing. ❤️🙏

Hey Broken Roots family,

I know I've been a little quiet lately, and I wanted to let you all know what's been going on.

A close friend's cancer has returned. Unfortunately, it's come back more aggressively, and we've been told it's untreatable.

So I've stepped away from the music and the channel a little more than usual. Right now, some things are simply more important than upload schedules and views.

I'm not going anywhere. Broken Roots isn't stopping. I just may be a little quieter and releases may not always land exactly when planned while I spend time with the people who matter to me.

I also want to ask something from this community.

If you're the praying kind, please keep my friend and their family in your prayers. Pray for strength, peace, comfort, and for every good day they can possibly have together.

Thank you for sticking with me, for listening to these songs, and for understanding.

We'll keep walking this road together.

Hey y’all, I wanted to give everybody a quick update.

I’ve finally decided to put **Broken Roots on a set release schedule.**

🌲 **MONDAYS @ 12 PM PACIFIC**
🌲 **FRIDAYS @ 12 PM PACIFIC**

**Two drops a week.**

I’m going to do everything I can to stay consistent with it. Life and work can always throw a wrench in the plans, so the schedule may change eventually — but for now, **Monday and Friday are Broken Roots drop days.**

There’s a whole lot more coming.

More stories.
More truth.
More fire.
More Broken Roots.

🙏 A QUICK WORD FROM BROKEN ROOTS

I want to clear something up because I see conversations about this from time to time.

I am aware of the ancient Hebrew texts and the discussions surrounding names such as YHWH/Yahweh and Yeshua.

I intentionally use God, Lord, and Jesus in Broken Roots because those are the names and words understood by the majority of the people these songs are trying to reach.

But please understand something important:

I am a vessel. I am not your teacher.

I can write a song that makes you question.

I can point toward Scripture.

I can bring something to your attention that maybe you've never thought about before.

I can help point you toward the path.

But I cannot walk that path for you.

Don't believe something simply because you heard it in a Broken Roots song.

Don't believe something simply because somebody wrote it in a YouTube comment.

And don't believe something simply because somebody behind a microphone told you it was true.

SEARCH. STUDY. PRAY. ASK QUESTIONS. SEEK THE TRUTH FOR YOURSELF.

Open the Bible. Compare. Dig deeper. When something doesn't make sense, don't be afraid to ask why.

Broken Roots was never created so that I could tell thousands of people what to think.

I'd rather make you start thinking and searching for yourself.

I can help light the way.

But the learning, the seeking, and ultimately your relationship with God has to come from you.

Stay rooted. Keep seeking. Never be afraid of the truth. 🌲✝️
