Man oh man! A long time ago I posted "Vinyl CD" by one of my favorite punk bands growing up "Malignus Youth" and as far as I knew - they only had a few releases back in the 1990s.. Welllllllllllll!!!!!!!

I was just doing some research on a completely different band and I stumbled upon something that damn near made me choke!

Malignus Youth in 2020, they released a DOUBLE LIVE LP that they recorded in 2014!!!!! My gawd!!! This is one hell of a find!

You can buy the Double LP Vinyl for $30 on their BandCamp or the digital version for $20.

40 songs total!! I know Malignus Youth isn't the most known band out there, but they are absolutely a hidden gem in American Hardcore!!

Even if you don't have money, go to their Bandcamp page and give this a listen!

Hey everyone! How's it going? I wanted to hop on here for a moment and write this message to you all because my good friend Murray Acton "The Cretin" of the Dayglos was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and a friend of his has started a GoFundMe fundraiser campaign to help the Cretin defeat Cancer so that he can continue to live a long and happy life spending time with his family, his friends and continue to make music and do everything that he loves doing!

It's truly annoying when YouTube hides what they consider "mean" or "negative" comments on uploads. For this channel, my main and for all other channels that I run or help run.. For every upload - I've selected the option to "allow all comments".. The way it should be.

Yet I often see folks have left comments on here that YouTube hides.. Even on my own material, if someone leaves a nasty comment, I don't delete that.. You be you, say exactly what you want. This website is supposed to be "Broadcast Yourself" for a reason..

And sometimes the comments aren't even nasty, mean or hateful.. Purely using a "swear word" saying how "F&#&@& AMAZING!!" something is, gets your comments hidden by YouTube (which is just dumb)...

As well, hope y'all are doing good!

Rob Equiza is an alternative, experimental rock musician from the Philippines- he's the founder of Jam Lemon Records and is a super talented guy! He finds the median between avant-garde and structured alternative rock music and excellently executes an appropriate stomping ground for each song that he makes. "Refugees" has 8 tracks with each one being a few minutes long which is all it takes to drive their messages home.

My favorite tracks are "Empty Cemetery", "No Shadow" and "getmeoutofhere" because they all three correlate with the feeling of being stranded or lost somewhere in an unknown or deserted placed, desperately seeking to find one's way home.. I'm in Manila, from Kansas and I'm working hard every single day to do what it takes to get home with my wife. That's the biggest way I relate to this album.. It speaks to me in regards to feeling lost, seeking a brighter future and just trying to figure things out. Feeling claustrophobic against the blinding and mentally destructive media-buzz, politics and culture that I'm so alien to. Trying to survive in a world that is so unknown to me, struggling to find my place.. Constant nightmares and dreams of being back home and living happily and in peace...Often reaching out in whichever way I can to find some sort of next step up..

My favorite line from my favorite song on this record "Empty Cemetery" goes like this -
""Waste away til our hearts decay""" - this line hits really hard and truly helps to convey the message of this album.

As promised! Here we, here we go!

First review of the New Year, I wanna talk about a fella from Russia by the name of Zany Zany Waterstoat! I met Zany through this community forum, actually. He's one of the first artists who sent in some of his music for me to listen to, review and talk about! And althoug he's defintely accumulated a vast library of boppin tracks, I decided to start out by reviewing his first EP released back on January of 2019.

"dumb (volume 1)" was the first EP released by Russian experimental artist, Zany Zany Waterstoat back on January 2, 2019. It's a nice, smooth, ambient EP with a fusion of lo-fi synth, turmtable scratching, dream-vibe vocals and other experimental additives mixed in throughout! Each song is a few minutes long and it's a nice ep to put on to really just relax to and vibe out and daydream to. Nothing heavy, just some trippy dreamlike vibes that'll put you into a good mood!

Hey everyone! How's it goin? Hope yer all doing well!

Had a very busy year last year and so a lot of projects and things got put off for a while but.. Regular uploads will resume shortly. Got some really good artists that I can't wait to share with y'all. And to reiterate an earlier post.. If any of you have music you'd like me to either upload, review or share.. Comment down below and email your material to me. This channel is not really genre specific, so feel free to send what you want. I can also upload music videos, live shows (anything really) that you have.

In your submission, please detail your band's contact information, social medias, short bio, link to your website, bandcamp, soundcloud, spotify - give me as much details about you (as an artist) or your band. And I'll feature you on this channel either by upload or via post like this (it's up to you which method you'd like).. Please specify that in the submission. I know a dozen or so of you already wrote in over the last year or so and unfortunately I only got to a few of you.. I've listened to everything I've received.. But the last 12 months have been extremely long and busy for me, thus I've not had the time to truly go over things, make full and in-depth reviews and such and do your artwork justice and I do apologize for that..

But it's a new year, things on my end are much easier now in terms of my own stability, so I'm ready to rock n roll!
