Good by my friend! The bulldog world lost a real asset. Mr Alex Getz . Alex has been a friend of mine over half his life he started coming around and learning about game dogs at 17 years old . His nick name from my mother was hungry as he always was ready to eat some of her cooking. Alex was a very fast learner and a quality dog man. He owned many great dogs including champion Rebel. we had partnership together on several fine dogs and I had several of his dogs on my yard for a time.
Alex and his hunting partner was hog hunting in Sebring Florida when they were struck by lightning and lost their lives. they lost their lives in four hunting dogs with them lost their lives as well. this was a great tragedy. My prayers go out to his family I am truly sorry.
