@Csthedirector Superman (2025) outgrossed every Marvel movie of 2025 being Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts and Captain America.
Superman didn't really flop not as bad as you think it beaten Black Adam due to the fact Black Adam was never a Superman villain but a Shazam villain
$125 million in the net is nothing if @Csthedirector thinks the budget was 350M to make the film $350M is not a production budget. It was $225M And it had a crash on ticket sales. But some people would rather wait until when the movie came out on to the big screen. Except people were way too accustomed to streaming, which is killing the film business and let alone physical media quicker than anyone would realize.
@Csthedirector The market would say no to restoring the Snyderverse if Gunn wanted to restore the Snyderverse he would as an Elseworlds project not canon to the new DCU. My grandparents may be Trump voters but they liked the new Superman movie, they are open minded. My mom is a Trump voter and she liked the new James Gunn Superman but not as much as Superman & Lois the CW DC show better than Man of Steel. Sure my mom and I resented Gunn's DCU for ending Superman & Lois but saw the reason why didn't want two competing Supermen.
@Csthedirector James Gunn's Superman made $354,184,465 in the domestic box office markets meaning United States and Canada. Meaning 57.5% of the North American audiences bought tickets. Zack Snyder's Man of Steel made $291,045,518 meaning North American audiences 43.4% bought tickets.
@Csthedirector James Gunn's Superman made $261,800,000 in the international box office markets flopped in China. Meaning 42.5% of the overseas audiences bought tickets. Zack Snyder's Man of Steel overseas had 56.6% of audiences buying tickets grossing $379,100,000.
@Csthedirector Superman wasn't trying to beat Man of Steel it was basically like Iron Man when the MCU started, like Batman Begins when The Dark Knight Trilogy started.
@Csthedirector James Gunn's Superman made $615,984,465 and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel which was built on the how people reacted to The Dark Knight Trilogy thought Man of Steel was set in the same universe when wasn't made $670,145,518.
It is closed minded Trump voters who are not giving new movies a chance Because they are way too caught up in woke this and woke that.
I would be the late Charlie Kirk if he was a film viewer since he was an open minded Trump supporter and an open minded Christian.
@Netflix buying @WarnerBros is never gonna restore the Snyderverse instead it would kill the film business as a whole and it would make the decline in physical media even worse to the point nobody is gonna be happy when WiFi goes out. @Microsoft shut down the digital movies and TV store which made it easy for me to skip going to stores to buy movies and shows but shutting it down was still the worst decision by my book. I get it @Microsoft@MicrosoftWindows and @xbox gaming is out of business strategy but to people who don't play video games like myself it felt like a betrayal.
Gunn may not be a Trump fan but Trump is more open minded than what anyone says he is. It really shouldn't matter if anyone likes trump or not. Trump Hatred to the point of wanting him dead is gonna make things worse.
@Csthedirector The production budget of James Gunn's "Superman" (2025) is actually the same production budget as Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" (2013). Budget is $225 million. Marketing budget had nothing to do with the production budget.
Both Superman movies made over $600 million dollars at the box office at the time of release not adjusted by inflation.

2025 was not only the first year since 2011 where not a single comic book superhero movie made $700 million. But 2025 is also the first year since 2008 where a DC comic book superhero movie beaten a Marvel comic book superhero movie at the box office.
@A24 never made a comic book movie and I had never watched an A24 movie from start to finish but #Thunderbolts was a closest thing to an A24 comic book movie we could ever get except it was made by Disney and it was a great movie. And honestly I actually liked the Harry Potter movies from the 2000s But if A24 made those movies it would be boring uninteresting and super whiny. But A24 have this arthouse film style. DCU has that too but nobody brags about it because DCU has a campy lighthearted tone that made Superman 2025 work. What made Bumblebee and Transformers One work. A24 should make something I would watch because their movies are boring and uninteresting.
