Welcome to Violin Garden! My name is Anna Lea and I am a certified ESA Suzuki Violin Teacher in Vienna, Austria. On this channel you will find a growing number of videos with the Suzuki repertoire, in various tempi, for you to play along with or copy by watching and listening as well as simple tutorials and additional repertoire for various occasions. These videos are intended to help you prepare for your weekly lessons and group classes with your home teacher.
I have been truly blessed to have the violin in my life and I have been teaching the art of violin playing to both children and adults for over two decades. It gives me great joy to pass this on to anyone who is willing to learn🦋🎻🌷

🎻To all Suzuki students and parents: In case you don´t know these amazing books yet - the Step by Step series by German Violin Paedagogue Kerstin Wartberg show HOW to practice ALL OF THE SUZUKI PIECES! Yes - they provide the detailed exercises and explanations (that are particularly helpful for parents) and come with a CD or mp3 recordings of all of the pieces in various tempi to play along with.
I have used these books for my teaching ever since they were published and am very grateful to @KerstinWartberg for these wonderful books!🤩
She too has a very helpful YouTube channel which you can find under her name!
In English they are called Step by Step 1A, 1B etc. and can be purchased easily on various platforms. I am not an affiliate, I just love her work and hope that more of you discover it as well!🌷

The Violin Garden Summer Academy 2026 (July 6th- 10th) in Vienna, Austria is filling up quickly! We still have a few spots, and the Early Bird registration goes until February 28th.
The Academy is for any student studying with a certified Suzuki teacher. Base level is Etude Book 1, and goes up til Book 10.
