I didn't realize it had been two months of silence here already- but if you haven't figured it out yet it will indeed be quiet here for a while. I'll be active on other socials but mainly just reposting cool stuff on Cara and sharing WIPs on Ko-fi.
Numbers don't mean much on a channel like mine, especially with Shorts bots, but still thanks for 10K. What I prefer to say is that I appreciate YOU, the person reading this, that I for just engaging and maybe even enjoying my creations. Finally... the animation I made over two years ago is live!
I don't know how many hours this took to make cuz I didn't keep track, but production started July 2022 and ended December that year, so 6 months. All the character retopology edits, rigging, shader re-work, animation, vfx, lighting, and compositing is me.
I do still plan on making a breakdown video at some point but there's yet another neglected part of this project by other primary talents that remains to be posted. Stay tuned i guess
Sup. Check out this animation by ‪@denden5sculpts‬ and a gang of other brilliant folks. Over these past 4.5 months I've spent ~130hrs working behind the scenes on character art, rigs, materials, VFX, background art, lighting, and compositing all in Blender. It's tons of work but pretty rewarding to work on something this unique. At some point, I'd love to show development details on this, and a few other animations. But for now, show some love to the artists and the SRTE dev team, they're clearly very passionate about this project.
