We will do in-depth unboxing, what to look for before your first run, DIY project, upgrades that may work for you and a few tips and tricks to help you get the most out your RC (diff/shock tuning etc.). I'm no expert but I hope to help guide you in the right direction. This is real testing and upgrades (modification if needed).

I know that some of you may be wondering what is going on with SpareTime RC channel posting one video a week. I have been having serious issues with my laptop and today is no exception. I have downloaded three video and each one after rendering has no audio.
I'm in the process of trying to figure this out but at the same time I'm heading out of town for the next 2wks. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope everyone understands. Once I return 22 May, I hope to either have this problem fixed or have a new Laptop. Either way I will resume to normal.

Well I started working on the back 40 track. First step is to clear out the underbrush behind the driver stand. Put brushkiller down to get rid of the creep vine and cud zoo. Cut away a few imposing dead trees, cut down some over hanging branches. Tomorrow cut away some more of the vines, pick up the branches (small and large)
more brushkiller, in the hard to reach area's since the dead trees have been removed.

No Video today, just a heads up of what I have been doing. Now that the snow has gone and the back 40 doesn't look like a small water log pond. I can get started clearing all the fallen trees (dead tree's) branches between the house and the back 40.
I can start clearing the track and get it ready for a new look, but I have to fill in the far back corner to level it off, clear all the moss that has taken over, and clean up the driver stan area, since it will be pushed back. One man operation with some help from my grandkids. Slow process but I will get there.

The VW Wide Body Blob
Just an up-date on the T-1 VW Widebody project. Things are moving along (slowly) finished removing more of the buck to a certain point. laid the chassis on the buck to see if it we are good as far a length and width. We are a little shy on the width department, which is no problem, just add clay to widen it. Speaking of clay the first tub only covered 95% of the front and cab (short of about 4 or 5 more) Monster Clay to just cover the body. Still looking for names for this project, as of now I have 7 names for this project, if you have any suggestions go watch the video, and put your suggestion in. The video for this process will be out soon.

Well I have the new Kraton Mini 3S. Again I have been having issues with my laptop for the past 2 days. I can't get past 40% finalizing in the edit process, but once I get the issue fixed the video will be posted. This Is Arrma Mini Bashing Beast.

CHASSIS HAS LANDED!
It's here the 1/7th scale chassis for the VW wide body is now on the bench.
First episode will cover unboxing, 1st part of chassis assembly, rough marking for electronics, shaping of the buck.
What do you want to se more of in this series

The 1/7th scale VW widebody project is officially past the idea stage 😂. The check list is being done one thing at a time.
The buck is on the bench, the monster clay is here and the chassis is somewhere between Flushing USA and home.
If you have done a build like this, what stresses you out the most?
A. Choosing the best components (chassis, suspension, drivetrain etc.)
B. Choosing the right electronics
C. The first cut
D. Body work and shaping

Just a update on the T-1Road Demond project. Monster Clay just arrived, I think I will have to purchase one more . Removing and shaping the buck will take some time, I don't want to take to much off and have to redo the entire thing again. I think it is coming along pretty good, slow but coming along.
