Today(technically yesterday, but we won't look at the details) we hit the 10th anniversary of iKiwed, the YouTube channel!
I have something to commemorate the moment, but it's not ready yet. So I'm going to split the commemoration into two parts.

Let's start with a fun fact: iKiwed is my third YouTube channel. What about the other 2 channels?
Well, long story short: The first channel is more than 14 years old and has Mario Bloopers, Gmod, YTP videos, and Smash Bros Brawl gameplay. In 2009, I posted my very first video on YouTube related to Ace Attorney.

About 2 years later I made another YouTube channel for tech reviews, especially phone products and mobile games, which is something literally different from what I do now. But I also used the channel for some pivot animations.

In the same year I changed my Twitter username to iKiwed, and about a year later I created this YouTube channel.
The channel was meant to be for only Italians, but when Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies came out I had joined the international community, so I thought to try producing English videos.
I know, I know - my English wasn't good at all, and even now I have struggles.
But the channel started growing up with videos like Steamed Hams and the Autopsy Report.
There are a lot of fun videos on the channel loved producing. Some of them were on my wishlist, like "When Phoenix Wright wins at 'Poker'" and "Phoenix Wright & Mario Sunshine".

The channel has also moved and changed continuously with new content like 2.5D animations and short videos.
I can't deny I had some challenges along the way, but on second thought, I believe this helped me to get more experience for even more sophisticated projects.

Although I can't hold the same amount of time producing as 1-2 years ago, It's always refreshing to release a new video here, and I hope you'll look forward to other unannounced projects which I'm super excited to be part of.

To end this first part of the anniversary, I'm going to show you the very first video of the channel:
It's a clip of the fangame I was making before Ace Prosecutor Zero, called "Ace Attorney Zero".
Yeah, not an original name, I am aware of it. I'd say that was a placeholder for something else.
Anyway, this video features the main character, alongside Edgeworth and Gumshoe.
The scripts are in Italian - sorry about that.

Yes, I am still alive! And actually, I have some things to say.

I want to briefly talk about the changes I'm making, and I'd love to know your opinion on a certain matter.


// 1 - Channel Regrouped
To experiment, I changed my YouTube home page. Videos are now grouped in playlists. There are 3 main playlists:
+ Video Of the Year. A selection of videos I had fun producing and/or highly appreciated by the community.
The playlist is shorter than the others and contains a combination of famous and personally appreciated videos I made, like Gran Turnabout Hams 2.
+ Ace Attorney. Obviously, a playlist dedicated to all the Ace Attorney videos and shitposts made during these years.
+ Extra. The selection of videos unrelated or semi-related to Ace Attorney. This includes Among Us, Morshu, Mario, Ace Prosecutor Zero, etc.

In the Playlists section, you can find all the other dedicated playlists.
Plus, some unlisted videos are now available again in the playlists. Who knows, you may find something interesting in one of these...


// 2 - New Channel?
I've probably reached "that" moment when I want to make something else other than Ace Attorney videos...
Actually, I tried making this change here, on iKiwed, but I don't think it succeed for multiple reasons...
Psychologically speaking, I feel like I am forced to follow a specific standard for a specific community even in the most unrelated videos of mine. Of course, it's just the perception I have of the channel, but still, making different types of videos on iKiwed allowed me to experiment and see what can or can't work for the community and for my expectations. This is why I come to the conclusion that making a second channel might be the answer.
+ The second channel would act like the "Extra" playlist here on iKiwed, but larger and with different standards.
+ If you're here just for Ace Attorney, you won't need to unsubscribe to this channel or subscribe to the second channel. It's all up to you.

APZ moment. Incredibly cursed.






Hey all! Today is the second Ace Prosecutor Zero Anniversary!
It's always nice for me to think of how APZ turned out, considering the progress made in 4-5 years...
And all, for just a single, broken fancase. Hahaha!
I'm not a partier, but I believe these moments are meant to be celebrated.
