It's August 13th of 2025, and YouTube has today rolled out their Ai Age verification thing. I've encountered this *ahem* verification when watching Mortal Kombat videos that weren't given the deathmule treatment, this includes the Mortal Kombat 2 Trailer. But weirdly enough I was watching a couple seconds of a couple Corridor Digital videos and strangely they weren't age restricted, neither was an ElectroBoom compilation, Deep Humor videos, "The Most Controversial Video Games, R Rated Games in the forms of Shorts, and my videos? Is it because that Mortal Kombat shows off more gore than any of these videos? Who knows. I have heard that the Ai is a bit shaky with its identifications, but just in case I'm still gonna watch some "NOT FOR KIDS" content for the time being until this whole controversy blows over. (which may be a while)
