Amur leopards, the rarest big cat in the world, cling to survival in the temperate forests of southeastern Russia and northeast China. Their thick fur helps them brave the harsh winters, while their spotted coat provides camouflage for hunting prey like deer and boars. Poaching and habitat loss threaten their existence

Northern white rhinos no longer live in the wild due to poaching. Their lifespan can be up to 50 years in the wild. Once roamed central Africa, including parts of Chad, the Central African Republic, southwestern Sudan, northern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and northwestern Uganda.

It is incumbent upon us, as humans, to ensure that these animals do not go extinct.

Bears are solitary animals for the most part, though they may form temporary associations during mating season or when food sources are abundant
