So, things continue to be crazy behind the scenes for reasons I can't get into just yet. It's in those circumstances that for some reason I decided to write, film, and edit a new video from scratch in 3 days. A video on Concorde specifically. Sony's failed live service hero shooter. Because this is a game that I've been thinking a lot about recently and how baffling a failure it was. So, here are my belated, possibly derivative thoughts.
I was determined to have my next video out in time for the usual Sunday morning release. Looks like I've bit off a little bit more than I could chew in time. Oops. Yeah long story short, I tried to make a video from scratch in the span of 3 days while dealing with a lot of the craziness that's been going on, of which I may be able to speak on soon.
So hopefully it should be out on Monday.
I know some of you will tell me to try and take care of myself, and not worry about it... I don't have a response, I just know some of you will.
You know what's funny, a couple months ago I predicted that the Game Awards Best Adaptation was going to be a battle between Fallout season 2, Twisted Metal season 2, and Sonic movie 3 (which I haven't seen, but it got the most praise out of all three movies)
Seeing none of those adaptations get nominated is causing psychic damage to me right now.
What's causing even more psychic damage to me right now is the fact that The Last Of Us season 2, a season of television that fails as an adaptation and as any level of quality television generally is nominated. Let's be honest, it's probably going to win too.
(I've also heard the Devil May cry adaptation was pretty bad, but I wouldn't know)
So I just wanted to say, my video "One Piece Of Trivia For Every Twisted Metal Character" has been one of my lesser performing videos all year. But I enjoyed making it. Genuinely one of the most enjoyable video creation experiences I've had in awhile, so those of you who did watch it, sincerely thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.
