Taking place in the depths of winter, the Arc 100 isn’t just a physical challenge—it’s a test of resilience, determination and mental strength. With long, remote sections between aid stations, runners need to be self-sufficient and ready to face whatever the Cornish winter throws at them.
For me, this is more than just a race. It’s a goal, a challenge and a dream. Every training run, every hill session and every mile is another step towards earning a place on that start line.

Happy St Piran’s Day! Since today is March 5th,

Happy St Piran’s Day!
Today we celebrate the patron saint of tin miners and the spirit of Cornwall. Legend says St Piran was cast into the sea in Ireland with a millstone around his neck, only to float safely to the shores of Perranporth. He is credited with discovering tin when he saw white metal flowing from a black hearthstone—the inspiration for our iconic black and white flag. To celebrate, we tuck into traditional Cornish favorites like the world-famous Cornish Pasty, creamy Saffron Cake, and Heavy Cake, always finished with a scone topped with jam and a thick dollop of Cornish Clotted Cream.
