As a photographer, it helps when a boat already has beautiful lines, like all Grady's do. However, a few feet aft or forward, up or down, can transform the look of any boat in a positive or negative way. This is when it pays to be all about the details.
I'm constantly looking for reflections. They can elevate the look of something, and when they're intentional in helping tell a story, they add so much depth and meaning.
For example, the photo of Randy at the helm of his new 376 Grady, with his old 336 Grady (our camera boat for the day) in the reflection, tells the story of his journey with Grady.
Reflections are another way I see the world as a photographer - something most wouldn't notice but something that immediately draws me in.
