I hope everyone is doing alright! Today I finally uploaded all my ambiences to BandCamp (some were still missing) as well as my first album "Environmental Soundscapes: Chapter 1". Perfect for quarantine :)

How is everyone doing? :) Just wanted to give a quick update on a couple of things.
Firstly: This channel recently hit the 5000 subscriber mark and I still can't really believe that we are already so many! :) I appreciate all of you very much, especially all the loyal commenters and role-players who post such amazing stories and dialogues on my ambiences. Please keep them coming!!

Secondly: YouTube has decided to monetize my channel again, at least for now. Let's hope it sticks this time :D I really want to upgrade some of my hardware very soon as well as my sound library collection.
Thirdly and most importantly: I want to get to know some of you guys a bit better! So as an assignment (yes have assignments now, here in the Ambience Lab) why don't you comment below and tell me a bit about yourself, e.g. where you are from, how old are you, during which activity you listen to my ambiences the most, which ambience is your favourite and why or basically anything that comes to your mind :) Looking forward to reading some of your stories!

1 1/2 years, 48 videos and one channel demonetisation later and here we are at already over 2000 subscribers :D Thank you guys so much, I have no idea how I deserve this amazing community!


I keep thinking about making a "XY Subscriber special video" but I never know what to do, so I just keep uploading regular ambiences instead :D I might have to do a "Making-Of" video soon, because YouTube thinks, that I don't create these ambiences myself (hence the demonetisation), and I guess we will have to prove them wrong.



I really didn't want to make a video like that (who honestly cares about how these ambiences are created) but I also don't want anyone else to think that I "reuse someone else's content" as well. We will see :D

Finally I have access to the community tab; I've bee looking forward to chatting with you guys for months :)
I just wanted to say thank you so much for 1000 subscribers, I really appreciate every single one of you!

And also a big thanks to all the people who posted these awesome comments on my latest video. I was absolutely amazed by the creativity of them! It is nice to know that my ambiences ignite your imagination like that and I hope you are having as much fun reading/writing them as I do :)
