I'm Ian Worth, a landscape photographer from the UK. Join me each week for laid-back photography adventures, where I share practical tips to help you capture stunning photos. 👍
I’ve just released a new ebook - A Landscape Photography Guide to Camera Technique - and I’m really excited to finally share it with you.
Over the past few years I’ve had so many conversations, both while running workshops and here on YouTube, about the challenge of translating what we see into what we capture. This book is my attempt to simplify that whole process. Inside, I walk through my in-the-field workflow, focusing, exposure, filters, lens choice, and more - all spread across 96 pages with over 120 photos.
If you love being out in the landscape with your camera and want a bit more confidence in getting the shot you visualise, this might be a helpful companion. You can check it out using the link below. www.iworthphotos.com/store/camera-technique
Thank you so much for the support - all proceeds help with the running costs of the channel. Best, Ian
I’m excited to share that Henry and I have just launched a brand-new 4-day landscape photography workshop in Snowdonia for March 2026. This is one of my favourite places in the UK to shoot, a mix of rugged mountains, glacial valleys, and some amazing coastal areas to explore. If you’d like to join us for an inspiring few days of photography, learning, and discovering some of the best locations North Wales has to offer, you can check out all the details on my website. www.iworthphotos.com/workshops/march26
A huge thank you to everyone who joined our 2025 Autumn Photography Tour in Eryri (Snowdonia, North Wales). What an incredible couple of days. We had a real mix of conditions, moments of beautiful light, perfectly still reflections on the glacial lakes, and of course a little bit of wet and blustery weather too.
One of the real highlights was a twilight rainbow (swipe to see it), a first for all of us I think, and such a memorable moment to capture together.
Henry and I had an amazing time running this tour, and we’re already planning the next ones. We’ll be releasing new dates very soon, so if you’d like to be notified first, make sure to sign up to my newsletter here. 👉 www.iworthphotos.com/take-action
Thanks again to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic few days.
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s picked up my new Analogue Presets for Lightroom this week. The response has been incredible, and I really appreciate all the kind feedback so far. Your support makes it possible for me to keep creating weekly videos and resources like my Free Light in the Landscape guidebook. So, thanks again. If you haven’t seen them yet, you can check out the preset pack here: www.iworthphotos.com/store/presets
Just wanted to say a big thank you for all the kind comments on this week’s video, it really means a lot.
In the video, I shared a simple idea for displaying your own photography. It’s something anyone can do, and I’ve found it’s a great way to stay inspired, get out with the camera more, and even start a new project.
If you haven’t seen it yet and need a bit of motivation, it’s up now on the channel. Would love to hear what you think.
Hi everyone, I’ve put together a new recent work gallery on my website, featuring some of the images I’ve been making lately. I plan to keep it updated regularly as new work comes together. If you're interested in keeping up with what I’m working on, feel free to bookmark the page. Thanks as always for the support, it really does mean a lot. Thank you so much to everyone who sent in questions for this Q&A. I really appreciate it. It was great to reflect a bit more deeply on some of the topics you asked about. The video is now live if you'd like to watch. I hope it brings you something useful, or at least a bit of encouragement wherever you are with your photography right now. Thanks again for being here, it really does mean a lot.
Last week I had the pleasure of running a photography tour in my home county of Pembrokeshire. It was a great group to work with — relaxed, creative, and full of good conversation and laughs. It’s always a good sign when people are swapping email addresses at the end; a clear marker that everyone felt comfortable, connected, and enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to the next one. 😊
In this video, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a hidden gem tucked away in a coastal gorge. I had to work quickly to beat the incoming tide—otherwise, it would’ve been a swim out with all my camera gear… which definitely wasn’t ideal!
Hey everyone, I found some truly amazing views on this trip and was lucky enough to catch an epic sunset to top it all off. It was one of those evenings that reminds me exactly why I love landscape photography. Hope you enjoy 👍
