Welcome to Organic Oasis 🌱
We’re Tomato Tim and Debbie, growing food organically in Zone 9B in the San Francisco Bay Area—mostly in grow bags and small spaces.

On our channel, we share how to grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers without toxins, even if you don’t have a big yard. Rising food costs and concerns about chemicals inspired us to grow more of our own food—and preserve it by dehydrating and canning so we can enjoy our harvest all year long.

We believe anyone can grow healthy, organic food at home. Our goal is to teach and inspire you to create a productive garden in whatever space you have, while caring for the environment and future generations.

Growing your own food is empowering—and once you taste what you grow, you may never want store-bought again. 🌿

Which variety should I plant first? 👇🌱 #Hydroponics #HydroponicGardening #Lettuce #GrowingLettuce #IndoorGarden #OrganicGardening #Ahopegarden #GardenToTable #GrowYourOwnFood #OrganicOasisCA

🌱 Look at this regrowth!

19 days ago, I cut my bunching onions just a few inches above the base… and THIS is what they look like today! 👀👇

They just keep giving and giving—no replanting needed. This is one of my favorite “grow it once, harvest forever” crops for the garden. 💚

Have you tried cutting your onions instead of pulling them?

👇 Tell me in the comments—do you regrow yours or harvest once?

🪳🐜 Garden Hack for Ants 🐜🪳

Ants can be a real headache in the garden (and even indoors). Here’s a simple, natural trap I make using borax + honey:

👉 Mix 2 tablespoons borax with ¼ cup honey.
👉 Place in small containers with lids (poke a few tiny holes if you want ants to crawl in).
👉 The ants are attracted to the sweet honey, but the borax takes care of the colony.

⚠️ Safety note: Keep out of reach of kids and pets!
