What's up fellas,

Long time no video. Gonna be moving away from reviews completely on the channel. Takes far too much time for me to commit at this point in my life (even with as low budget as they are) and has made it into more of a chore than something I enjoy. I'm also down to only Saturday and Sunday (if I'm lucky) to do swords related things. So the plan is to go back to strictly cutting videos on the channel. That is where my passion for the hobby is and where the meat and potatoes of this channel comes from. I'm still open to demoing blades from manufacturers, but I will no longer be dedicating a month to one product. Thanks for the understanding guys!

This is what we get from Hanwei after all this time? Fake rayskin and a crappy polish? Go look at what you can get from shadowdancer for that price and get back to me. This is the exact reason that Hanwei is becoming irrelevant quickly. Bare minimum, stagnation, and mediocrity. While other companies continue to push what's possible in the budget range, Hanwei stagnates in what was passable a decade ago. Do better. Vid coming soon

Check out Eric Husayns new channel. Really well done video illustrating how well done the shadowdancer stuff is. Eric is the one who originally put me on to the brand and has been able to pull a ton of extremely impressive cuts with their stuff. Some of, if not the best production katana on the market in the price point they sit in. Highly recommend

This is gonna be INCREDIBLE! The dragon king winter sun is my favorite TH blade of all time. Can not wait to get it in a DH version. Seems like all the specs stayed the same and they brought back the snow flake Tsuba. Stoked for these to drop!
