I truly believe that sewing can fulfill our lives in many ways - technically, creatively and in a sustainable way as well.

Did you start sewing by making doll clothes when you were little? I certainly did! I distinctly remember hand stitching all sorts of outfits from fabric scraps that my Mom would give me. As an homage to one of the ways how many of us started sewing I have prepared for you a "Barbie Couture" video! You will see sparkly dresses, fun designs and tiniest accessories as well as a bit of a background on how I came back to sewing Barbie clothes in my adulthood :)

Let's sew a vest! This project features overlapping visible seams, handmade closure and an interesting solution to the bust dart. As always, you can use these techniques in other sewing projects as well, so I hope that this will be a great addition in your sewing tool box!
