Today at 5 PM Eastern, a new season of Wild Discovery begins with a three-day inflatable kayak journey through Killarney Provincial Park to OSA Lake. This was a test of the kayak on a true canoe route—but it was also a test of whether my body was ready to return.

A second frozen shoulder cut my last paddling season short. For my return, I took an inflatable kayak on a three-day journey through Killarney Provincial Park to OSA Lake—considered by many to be the most beautiful lake in Ontario. It was a test of the kayak on a true canoe route, but it was also a test of whether my body was ready to return.

The new season of Wild Discovery premieres Sunday at 5 PM EST. I’ll be watching with everyone and answering questions in the live chat.

Just got back from my second back country adventure of the season! Had an incredible 4-day sea kayaking trip to the Benjamin Islands in the North Channel of Georgian Bay in Northern Ontario. Just got back from my first paddling adventure of the year! Looking forward to sharing the whole adventure with all of you. I went to one of my favorite places in the world - Killarney Provincial Park. I also did the trip differently than normal. I decided to test whether an inflatable kayak (Sea Eagle 393rl) would be a good alternative to a canoe. Stay tuned for the episode on my other channel ‪@KenWhitingAdventures‬
