3 days of hard-fought competition. Over 1,000 anglers. $340K prize purse on the line. One fully rigged Nitro boat up for grabs. The 2025 YETI Open was nothing short of legendary.
From sunrise casts to final weigh-ins, we saw grit, grind, and some serious fish.

When she’s yelling into the moonlight wondering why she does this, Sydney van Loon must remind herself that it’s simply because in trapping, she’s found her purpose.
After the line’s former owner, Jurg Hofer, deemed her a worthy successor, Sydney now has the exclusive rights to harvest fur-bearing animals in the 532 square kilometer trapline in the Yukon.
It’s cold, hard work, but she takes great pride in providing fur — a sustainable, ethically sourced survival textile — for the local community.
