🏹:: 2025 RECAP / THANK YOU & HAPPY NEW YEAR 🤍

As this year is coming to an end, I wanted to take a moment to properly reflect on 2025: the good, the bad, the confusing, and everything in between. This year wasn’t perfect, not even close, but it was real, and for that I’m grateful.

This year taught me a lot about myself, about people, and about what I want to do with my channel. I wasn’t as active as I wanted to be, but I did try to slowly change the direction of my content. I started focusing more on what I genuinely enjoy. Sharing my opinions, rating music, and just having fun with it. It definitely has its ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I love it. Am I professional? No. But music isn’t about being professional, it’s about personal taste, feelings, and fun. And that’s something I want to keep reminding myself of.

Not everything this year was easy. The worst part of 2025 was definitely receiving death threats for over two months just because I gave Lisa’s songs low scores. Yeah… lovely. It wasn’t fun at all, and it honestly affected me more than I’d like to admit. But I also learned that sharing opinions online will always bring hate, no matter how politely you try to word things. Maybe I’m sometimes too brutal with my words, I’ll admit that, but come on… having an opinion should never lead to threats. Still, I’m learning how to stand my ground and not let negativity completely silence me.

Despite everything, there were also many things I’m proud of. I successfully turned 15, which is a really important age for me. I survived the first semester of 9th grade and I already know the second semester will be even harder. A lot of important things will happen in the upcoming months, and I’m honestly a bit scared. I know I might become even less active than I already am, but I hope you’ll understand.

One of the things I’m most proud of this year is that I managed to buy my dog a wheelchair with my own money. I know it is such a random small thing but to me it is really important. He says HI btw (last photo)

On a happier note music-wise, I went to zero concerts this year (sad), but my dad said he might buy me tickets to see ITZY next year, and I really, really hope they’ll come somewhere close 🤞. I also got three new albums this year:
• GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS – ITZY (bought myself for nameday)
• TUNNEL VISION – ITZY (bought myself for birthday)
• UNFORGIVEN – LE SSERAFIM (Christmas gift from my parents 🤍)

My ult list also changed this year, with tripleS and YOUNG POSSE entering my top 5 and I started to explore more nugu artists, which honestly says a lot about my music taste development.

Channel-wise… wow. This year I hit 1k, 2k, AND 3k subscribers, and I genuinely can’t express how happy and thankful I am for that. It truly means more than you think. I also managed to post 64 videos this year, which is somehow both surprising and disappointing to me. I also posted my 100th video, which is still kind of crazy to think about.

I do wish my community was a bit more active, not saying this ungratefully at all, but I’m still incredibly thankful for every single person who chooses to support me.

One of the best parts of this year was the people. I made a few new friends online, and I’m very, very grateful for them. But I’m equally thankful for all the friendships that stayed. So before this year ends, I want to thank a few very special people to me. These are not ranked, just people who came to my mind.

‪@Amandine___‬​​ — girl, where do I even start. I am so incredibly grateful that we became friends. You are insanely talented: editing, singing, dancing, rapping, analyzing… you’re smart, creative, and inspiring. What can’t you do? I’m grateful I found Aerosim and you. I don’t know if I ever said it out loud, but you’re genuinely an inspiration to me in many ways.

‪@Delulukpopqueen‬​​ — continuing with the talent of Aerosim and Bluestarz. What I love most about you is how funny you are, and I mean that. It might sound like a basic compliment, but for you it’s not. You’re so unapologetically yourself, unique in your own way. And of course, Chaeryeong lover, that alone explains why we’re friends. Never stop being yourself, okay?

‪@Random_edits_biana‬​​— another Chaeryeong lover (as expected). I feel like this year you were the person I agreed with the most, which is honestly rare. We don’t talk a lot, but when we do, I genuinely enjoy it. Another Bluestarz member, and I’m really glad I explored the KCA/VK-pop community more, because it led me to people like you.

‪@enisacore.ৎ‬​​— my dear Nissan. You little kiddo, I love you so much. You genuinely brighten my world. I’m 99% sure you’re the person I talked to the most this year, and I don’t regret a single second. You’re my energetic sunshine, and I hope I never lose you. Please keep being friends with me 🤍

‪@kpopsicle1‬​​— girlie pop, I miss you. We don’t talk often, and I wish we did, but life is hard for both of us and I understand that. I hope you’ll see this. I admire how smart, calm, and mature you are, and I really hope we never completely lose contact, no matter how quiet things get.

‪@fleur_wonyoung0‬​​— wifey. I miss you on YouTube, and I’m not even sure you’ll see this. But we still talk on TikTok, even if it’s just random videos of random stuff, and I’m grateful for that. We rarely agree on things, but honestly… that makes it more interesting. I love you, wifey.

‪@ChaeTwinkle‬​​— first of all, I want to apologize for not being very active on your channel. I hope you don’t feel like I’m ghosting you, because that’s truly not the case. I appreciate you so much as someone who’s been here since the very beginning of my journey. I still remember your start like it was yesterday. You’re kind, thoughtful, and genuine, please never lose that.

end of 2025 is coming and like… as a give-or-take ranking channel it literally wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t do the best songs of 2025. BUT your local undecided elf has a problem (as usual 👍).

i was thinking ab separating bsides and tts bc some ppl only listen to title tracks and some only check bsides, but then idk how many I should even put bc I feel like ppl care way more about title tracks (me included bc if I don’t like the title track I’m not even opening the album).

so originally I thought top50 tts, top50 bsides and top50 worst songs BUT the bsides list would literally be like 3 artists bc yes I am biased and yes I praise the artists I stan bc I like their music??? so then I thought maybe top100 bsides… but then like top100 tts makes no sense bc there aren’t even that many good tts to fill that list

SO final decision:
top100 bsides
top50 title tracks + singles
top50 worst songs (tt + bsides together)
- idk it feels the most balanced for now BUT i want someone's opinion on this.

also sorry for being inactive btw but I literally said in summer that this school year is insane, rn is like the second most intense time and the march–april era will be even worse so yea 👍 I’m trying to be active on my friends channels too but I’m lowkey failing at that.

also I wanna make a video where I rank my friends/subs fav songs of this year but idk if I’ll have time… probably during Christmas break bc I wanted to do it last year and then forgot... but I think it would be fun since my music taste is apparently very “specific”

also spotify wrapped is out i think this wednesday so there will be video about that too
