Guys I have good news and bad news today.
The good news is all of the tests on my system indicate the drive is not failing. The bad news is that the file system is BTRFS and that is something it should not be. Its suppose to be ext4 but somehow this did not happen during the original install.
The even better news is that I now have an excuse to main Arch linux, I have backed up my important files and they are ready to transfer over to the next system (ie i backed up the minecraft saves).
However this also means tommarow will be just tech streams.
