Great way to start 2026 ! UK author Gail Egan (writing as Carrie Hughes) was interviewed by Sussex World and quoted my words. It’s these small moments that make the writing struggle so worth it. To know a sentence I wrote over a decade ago can still reach out and touch someone…hard to describe the feeling other than that when I want to give up writing, it’s this kind of thrill that keep me writing!

Today’s tarot reading is a timeless message from Spirit that will reach you when you most need to hear it. and today the reading brought me two special messages.
The second card has several polar bears on it - the polar bear was my late husband’s totem animal. As it is our wedding anniversary in two days time I know this is Beric (we called him BEARic) reminding me that his spirit is always near.
The third card was called Grandmother Moon. Today is my father’s mother’s birthday (my ouma/grandmother) and just before I recorded today’s message I had put out her photo and lit a candle in celebration of her Birth Day - so when this card popped out I knew it was Ouma saying hello & thank you!!
I am so blessed and grateful for their presence today 🙏🙏

Did you notice I’ve changed my tarot table decor? I’m now working with a selenite wand, a chunk of raw black tourmaline and this beautiful sacred shamanic talking stick/energy weaver. From this first #tarot #reading using this shamanic talking stick the powerful energies infused the cards with a deeper level of meaning.
This sacred tool was lovingly and reverently created by ‪@KimDreyerArt‬ for use in sacred ceremonies as a talking stick, an energy weaver or to uncover that which is hidden from sight.
