“Happy wife, happy life” – Many men live by the phrase just wanting their wives to be happy. ‪@maatspeaks2065‬ ‪@thewifeschoolpodcast‬


A 2014 study published in the Journal of Marriage and Family found that men who were not as happy in their marriages, could still be happy with their overall lives as long as the wives were satisfied in the marriage. Researchers found that when women are not happy, they withdraw from providing emotional support, cease doing chores around the house, and withhold sex from their mate.


Many men submit to their wives’ desire to feel love and appreciated, submit to the role of provider whereby they provide for the financial needs of the family, and submit to the role of protector whereby they provide physical and emotional protection for their family.
Why would women have an issue with the concept of submission if men don’t? Does the word submit have different meanings for men than it does for women? Share your thoughts.

According to a recent Pew Research study, fewer people are opting to get married, and a report by the American Enterprise Institute’s Survey Center on American Life indicates many people have grown comfortable with the idea of remaining single - Single By Choice. Women in America have gained a tremendous amount of political and economic influence. For this reason, it is believed by some that women are not compromising when it comes to finding a mate and settling down to get married.

Frustrated with women's perceived unwillingness to compromise, some men are choosing to stay single or travel abroad to find a wife and start a family. Some experts worry that this current trend may lead to a demographic winter as fewer children are being born due to women having children much later in life, or not having children at all.

Although impractical, a small minority believe to fix this issue we must repeal the 19th Amendment and take away women’s right to vote – Go back to the 1800’s.
