🚨 There've been grumblings in the Hole 👀 We've been listening. We hear you! We investigated, and those grumblings were correct.

With all the production leading up to a premiere, we've been relying on a time-saving tool - Youtube's Auto-Ad Placement.

It's SUPPOSED to place an "appropriate" number of ads in a non-intrusive way.

But the Youtube robot has been a little greedy, apparently. Upon investigating after seeing some understandably unhappy comments, we found a fairly CRAZY amount of ads in our last video - Ohio Dogman.

Then we checked other videos we thought were fine, and same problem (See screenshot of an older episode with 22 ads for a 1 hour video 😬)

Now, Youtube argues these are just 'possible' ad spots - "not all get filled" - but we've had some reliable reports of people getting 2 ads within just a couple minutes of each other.

Well that is lame and dumb and sucks. Your viewing experience is just as important as the video itself. Why spend all this time producing an hour or 2 of weird wonder just to have people get ad-spanked into frustration land?

So we've scanned other episode comments to track down this issue throughout the catalog and will continue to do so till the Hole IS CLEANSED of this great evil! 🔥

...Of course, there will still be ads, the Hole does need to feed from time to time, but we've cut them down by more than half, and manually placed them for sensible spots.

Also, video chapters have been missing due to a technical error on our part, but chapters are now back in 🙌

In any case, just wanted to touch base with you guys and let you know we're working to improve the Hole, in all ways, together 👊
