Why when something goes wrong, the excuses start flowin'?
👈 It was my team.
⚙️ It was the process.
🫣 It was the other department.
🤮 It was communication.
Everyone has a reason.
Here's what I find so interesting.
These are good people.
Smart people.
People who genuinely want to do great work and win.
So why does holding people accountable feel so nauseating?
Like we'd rather do anything else in the world?
Holding people accountable just says, I care, I know you can be better, and I want you to be great.
What if every accountability conversation we looked at is an opportunity to help this person grow?

I've posted over 20 times about my new leaders community.
Tens of thousands of impressions.
Hundreds of dollars spent towards paid ads and boosted posts.
Over 2,300 new visitors in the last 30 days directly to my about page.
Not a single new member.
Now before you go call the wambulance, this isn't about pity. I don't need you to feel bad for me.
This is about grow, self reflection, and accountability.
It's recognizing something isn't landing.
Somethings not working with my about page.
My message isn't connecting with the people about the amount of value in this community.
That's on me.
And the truth is, I don't know how to fix it.
I don't know always know how to connect the hook, to the social post, to the message, to the this thing, to the that thing, and make sure this thing too.
What I do know is I know how to connect with people. Like real people. In front of them. With them looking at you.
So we are going to go old school.
Boots on the ground.
Door to door.
Speaking in front of people.
Whatever it takes to have them feel this community.
And one by one, we will grow this thing.
