A Blank Canvas

Vascan is bigger than one product.

If you've known us for a while, you might know us through Vascan for Cre8ives. But there's more to what we're building!

Meet the **Vascan ABCs**.

🅰️ Art Dealer; Creating opportunities to connect artworks with potential buyers.

🅱️ Business; Helping galleries, museums, foundations, and art organisations manage and present their work.

🅲 for Cre8ives; Giving creatives a space to document, organise, and showcase their work professionally.

🛍️ Shop; Making it easier to discover and explore artworks.

Different products. Different purposes. One connected ecosystem.

Because the art world doesn't operate in isolation. Artists, galleries, art dealers, collectors, and art lovers all play a part. We're building tools that bring these different parts closer together.

This is Vascan. And we're just getting started.

Explore the Vascan ecosystem through the link in our bio.

You don't have to create art to participate in the art ecosystem.

Sometimes, all it takes is knowing how to connect the right people.

Today, we're excited to introduce Vascan Art Dealer.

Vascan Art Dealer creates a pathway for people to participate in art sales without having to create the artworks themselves.

Here's how it works: discover artworks listed on the platform, identify potential buyers within your network, connect them with available artworks, and earn a commission when a sale is completed.

It's an opportunity for people who enjoy building relationships, communicating, and spotting possibilities to explore a new way of engaging with the art market.

We believe a stronger art ecosystem requires more than artists and galleries. It also needs people who can connect artworks to new audiences and potential buyers.

That's part of what we're building with Vascan Art Dealer.

**We're excited to finally bring this idea to life.

Africa’s art ecosystem has the talent. But does it have the infrastructure to match?

There are artists creating important work, exhibitions happening, opportunities emerging, and organisations building every day.

But too much of the ecosystem still depends on scattered information, personal networks, manual processes, and platforms that weren’t built with the realities of the creative industry in mind.

So we asked a simple question:

What does Africa’s art ecosystem actually need to grow?

Together with Art Report Africa, we explored four areas we believe deserve more attention:

→ Better documentation
→ Better access to opportunities
→ Better infrastructure
→ Better connections

Because African art doesn’t need saving.

It needs systems worthy of its potential.

What would you add to this list?

If you had ₦1.5 million to invest in art, what would you choose?

We’re doing this again.

This time, we’re looking at a body of work by one artist, with pieces around the ₦1.5M price range.

Sometimes, finding a piece you connect with is the easy part. Knowing where to look within your budget can be the harder part.

So, we went through this collection and picked out a few works we think are worth taking a closer look at.

If you had ₦1.5M to spend, which one would you go for?

Explore and shop the works on Vascan.io.

We talk a lot about building the African art ecosystem.

But sometimes, that work looks like something as simple as helping someone discover an artwork they didn’t know they needed.

We went through our catalogue and found a few pieces that stood out to us. Different artists, different styles, different stories—but each one has something worth stopping for.

For us, it’s about making African art easier to discover, appreciate, and ultimately own.

So, we went looking.

Swipe through and tell us which one caught your eye.

You can explore these artworks and more on Vascan.io
