I’ve been reading through every comment on the MK1 video, and one thing is clear:

This isn’t a fanbase that hates Mortal Kombat.
It’s a fanbase that feels unheard.

A few consistent themes keep coming up:
• Kameos weren’t just disliked — they became a symbol of characters being reduced instead of expanded
• Reboots and character changes didn’t feel earned or respectful to the legacy
• Late adopters feel punished by seasonal content and shop gating
• A lot of you don’t think MK is “dead” — you think it’s misassembled

What surprised me most?
Most people actually agree on the same formula:

MKX gameplay + MK11 customization + MK1 visuals

The pieces are already there — they just haven’t been put together the right way.
