I'm sharing a new Short today at 6 pm! It is a little throwback to this spring, when we sailed an Egyptian felucca on the Nile river. Felucca has a very specific lateen rig, which is, to my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful traditional sailing rigs. I especially appreciated the crew and the skipper for their skill, they easily sailed this 10 meters boat in narrow channels between the Aswan islands, completely engineless! Rare thing to see these days. I'm hard at work editing the next chapter for the classic boats of Turkey, in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this one!
