Betty was one of those ideas that never left me alone. It lingered in the back of my mind, refusing to be written any way except the way I felt it should be—unconventional, challenging, a little weird.
And then my beta readers got their hands on it.
Turns out, "unconventional and challenging" translated to "confusing and frustrating." Oops.
So, I rewrote. Tweaked. Explained just a little more (but not too much—Betty wouldn’t like that). And now, here she is.
