Following on from my previous visit earlier this year, next month, I'm once again rolling out to the official Transformers Store at London's Battersea Power Station! On September 17th, the store is hosting THE WAKE OF OPTIMUS PRIME, a special event celebrating the life and death of the greatest Autobot of them all! Another TFNation has come and gone! Thanks to all of you who came up to say hello this weekend - it really is rewarding to know that what I'm doing on here is reaching such a wide audience, from the littlest kids to the oldest fans! If you weren't there, or you missed it, I hope to be able to make my panel about the history of Beast Wars in the UK available on the channel soon, and perhaps we'll do a livestream version of this year's Matrix Test quiz. There won't be a Basics episode this weekend but gimmie a little time for my mind, body, and voice to recover, and I'll be back soon!

In just over two weeks, it'll be time for Europe's largest Transformers convention, TFNATION! I'm involved in several panels and events; here's where you can find me!

On FRIDAY, JULY 31st:
At 6pm, I'll be hosting THE MATRIX TEST, my annual quiz testing your Transformers knowledge with the kind of brain-teasers that famously get boos and hisses from audience! We've got another format change for the quiz this year, done through Kahoot, so have your phones ready!

Then at 8:30pm, join me and TF writers Jim Sorenson and James Roberts in conversation about The Transformers: The Movie, discussing what our first experiences of the film were like and how it's shaped Transformers lore and fandom over 40 years.

After that, on SUNDAY, AUGUST 2nd:
At 2pm, I'm taking the stage solo again for a special multimedia panel celebrating the 30th anniversary of Beast Wars! I'll be looking at the birth of the franchise, and specifically its arrival and handling here in the UK. This was a panel of my own invention; I'm really looking forward to it and I think it's going to be a lot of fun - not just because I love Beast Wars, but because it's really a look at the shared experience of being a kid in the 90s, back in the days of five TV channels, before the ubiquity of the internet, and what it was like to be a fan of something then! I really hope as many of you come along to this one as you can!

And course, I'll be around for all three days of the convention outside of panels, so please come up and say hello!
