Dato’ Dr. Haji Badli Shah bin Haji Alauddin serves as the Deputy Mufti of the State of Pahang (since 16 February 2023 – present). He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Universiti Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah (2025), an M.Sc. in Philosophy and Islamic Civilization from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (2012), a B.A. (Hons.) in Tafseer al-Quran from Al-Azhar University, Egypt (1999) and a Diploma in Islamic Da’wah from Kolej Ugama Sultan Zainal Abidin (1997). Over the years, he has produced more than 50 publications, including books, scholarly articles and journal papers indexed in Scopus, ERA and other high-impact journals. His academic expertise encompasses social science research design, advanced statistical analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS), applied econometrics and data analytics. His work focuses on quantitative approaches that explore behavioral, educational and institutional dynamics within contemporary Islamic and community contexts.
