Finally- after months of hiatus, I finally finished the number one cobalt dude- None other than Tommo! I started this back in June, but life got busy and I sadly wasn’t able to finish him, until now of course! I’m very pleased with his design and it honestly fits him so well. 🚂💙🩵✨❤️

Thomas Christopher Awdry, better known as “Tommy” by close comrades, is a humanoid 16 year old, E2 tank engine with striking blue eyes, a striking blue sweater with his signature number 1 in the middle, and smart blue sneakers. He’s a very cheeky, sassy, smug little engine, with a short stumpy funnel and two medium sized foot wheels on either side of his sneakers.

He’s is best friends with Percy and James, and often likes to play pranks on the school seniors, Gordon especially. He is quite good friends with my Sona, Rainbow RailStarr, the deer train, aka me as a humanoid train. He often likes to go to her for advice, or have deep philosophical conversations about life. Rainbow is one of the main engines he feels comfortable opening up to, especially concerning his complicated feelings about certain things, or engines, Like Rosie. 😏 🚂💖❤️🌹

As such he can be easily flustered, depending on what it is. Percy and James never miss a beat to tease him about Rosie’s obvious crush on him, nearly making his safety valve combust. 🤣🚂💙🚂💚🚂❤️🌟✨ Finally, he’s bold, loyal, very outspoken and unafraid to hide his feelings and just a loveable silly guy. Will absolutely stick his tongue at you- 🤣🤣

This is a short little animatic I did for my good friend and creative partner in crime, ‪@Enginesof8‬! He’s been very focused on developing the relationship between his OCs, Alex and Lucy, and desperately wanted a first kiss moment between them, interpreted in my Humanoid train/Traineegers universe! 🚂💙🚂🩶✨

Meet Rainbow RailStarr! 🚂🌈- Official Train Sona Introduction 💖🎨💫

Something’s are too beautiful for words- and this masterpiece is one of them 🫠😭🦌💖🚂✨🌈 I literally have no idea what to say because I’m just so overwhelmed and happy I finally brought this aspect of myself to life…so, I’m just gonna word vomit from here on out- don’t mind me- XD

I finally showcase my train self after months of procrastination and flip flopping on redesign choices. I’m finally here! My new revamped, Humanoid TrainSona in all my glory! There’s a lot to unpack here, especially given some questions I know folks will have! 👀🌟🚂🌈🎨✨

1: Is your Sona part of your TTTE Traineegers AU? 🚂💙❤️✨

Yes, And No! My Sona is original enough to play a part in both universes (Traineegers, and My Original) at the same time! I’m a humanoid a train yes, but also original! I look distinct enough from a Thomas and Friends character to not be confused with them. A prime example is me not having a grey face! This is a deliberate action to distinguish and separate me from my Traineegers AU and the TTTE universe as a whole.

I’m my own character in my own original universe/story of humanoid trains, separate from my AU. This consists t of my babies, Fynn and Flynn. This universe in particular has a twist, combining animalistic attributes with mechanical ones! Yep- Trains have fur! The are cute, mechanical fluffy hybrids. Steam/deisel powered yes, but soft, floofy and fluffy on the outside! I also have hind legs, paws, a tail, and many other unique features! This is deliberate! Don’t want Mattel coming after me or my audience getting confused!

2: Why does your Sona have Deer Features? 🤔🚂🦌💖🎨🌈✨

As of recently, I’ve been combining animal traits with trains, becuase I love both so much! My original universe is basically if the Sonic concept, met the Thomas concept, and fused into a hybrid. You get this beautiful, wacky, majestic creature right here! XD I love animals and trains, so, why not combine them and get best of both worlds? 🤪

Humanoid trains do in fact, have fur on their bodies! While of course, their anatomy is metalic on the inside (internal boiler and firebox which act as a digestive system) They are soft fuzzy critters on the outside!

Dress code basically follows the same rule for males in the Sonic universe. I decided to go down this route cuz I honestly thought it would be an adorable contrast. And it is! The idea of a train being soft and fluffy is so bizarre, yet oddly endearing, and that’s what I love about this idea! 😆🚂❤️✨

3: Why a deer specifically? 🦌🚂❤️🤎✨

They’re one of, if not my main favorite animal! Always have been since I was a kid! I’ve always seen them as more underrated tbh! They’re so graceful and pretty and I truly hink they deserve more recognition, especially some of the really pretty species like European Red and Fallow deer! 🚂🦌✨
